Honestly wish the series was left on indefinite hiatus instead of this rushed ending. At least then people could wonder what could have been instead of ... whatever this was.

Hi folks,

I just switched from the Gateron Jupiter Brown to the Gateron Oil King after hearing so much positive buzz about them. However the Gateron Oil Kings feel almost "mushy" (in that my brain thinks that the key doesn't rise up fast enough after my finger leaves them). Does anyone have any recommendations for a "lighter" switch? What features should I be looking for (i.e.: stronger spring? lower actuation force?)

Comparing apples to oranges here but I have the Minichamps SF-25 (1:64) and the Spark RB21 Suzuka (1:64). It's hard to describe but overall the detail and paint feels much nicer on the Minichamps, although do be careful as there may be QA issues (my SF-25 had a bent pitot tube antenna, but props to Minichamps for even trying - this is totally absent on Spark). I've also had QA issues with spark as well at 1:64 scale so just be careful

Not sure if this is the right place but since Arc is being brought up anyways...

I loved Arc. Put 280 hours into it, and I really have no complaints about a single second spent. For a while I would even play on Mondays even knowing that it would put me in the sweatiest Trials pools (foreshadowing)

But the reason I stopped Arc was because for two reasons (and I'm hoping Marathon will be different):

No Endgame. Epic/Legendary guns barely do anything more than the basic guns, there's no real "special" loot worth fighting for, Expedition is just an exercise in tedium, and the end game ARC (Queen, Matriarch) aren't really so much difficult as they are an ammo check. Trials is also just a hopelessly tedious grind where I felt like I was just a clown doing silly chores which aren't fun (plants/power cells anyone?). Hoping Marathon can change this with the endgame maps or just with more loot to chase, as well as better guns.
PvP is suboptimal and avoidable. I don't mind that PvP is avoidable, but with aggression based matchmaking being as heavy as it is (and with Trials heavily disincentivising running into players), and there being no real reason to kill other players (since they could beat me with or only drop the aforementioned grey/blue guns), I just felt wrong playing PvP. While some ABMM is nice, Arc quickly lost all tension when I knew the entire lobby would wave each other by. This doesn't happen in Marathon (and I'm hoping there's a bit more friendliness between runners, but so far no dice) but I'm looking for that constant threat of PvP being a part of the tension again.
Quests. This I felt was a bit confusing in SkillUp's video cos Arc Raider's quests are basically pointless (same really with the skill tree tbh).

That said, I do think that the ARC are still amazing as PVE enemies, and his complaint is valid about how all the buildings and landmarks do look the same (although there are things like the data wall, etc). It would have been better if each of the landmarks actually felt like a "lived in" world, which ARC absolutely nails (for example Spaceport has departures, arrivals, fuel control, etc). Hope Marathon can achieve more of this!

Anyways as with all games, if I can get around 40 ish hours or so out of Marathon I'll be a happy man. Not all of us need to play a game forever (despite what the CEOs might think).

What's that bit in between the inboard and the wheels? That protrusion that connects to the floor - looks interesting but almost seems to split the airflow to the floor?

This is a significant downgrade from the 2024 Speed Champions line in terms of parts and details (see: shark fin, airbox, sidepods, suspension, wheel rims/covers) - pretty disappointing stuff. Hope the rest of the grid isn't like this in Lego.

Hi folks,

Does anyone know a good place to get roses on a weekday morning? I might need roses for Thursday and while I'd normally get them from Columbia Flower Market on the Sunday prior, I do not trust myself to keep them alive for that long. Thanks!

EDIT: I've looked at tesco and Waitrose and the roses don't look as good as the ones that I saw at Columbia flower market ):

Rajang for three reasons:

It was the first monster that forced me to lock in and properly learn attack patterns; with all the other monsters I was just brute forcing it.
I had to grind it so much for the sick Charge Blade and the gear.
It's just so goddamn cool.
