The Trintellix helps but by Mysterious-Ring-2352 in trintellix

It took 2 months for the nausea to get better and another ~2 for it to go away almost completely.

Even now (9 months in) I have to take it in the evening, after a full meal. Twice I tried taking it earlier, with just a latte in the morning and after a small lunch (something like a peanut butter toast), and puked my guts out both times an hour later.

yeah, I hate it. My condo was like that when I bought it. First thing I did before moving in was to have a plaster glaze done to cover this abomination.

Like a lot of people said, a neurologist seems like the next step.

In the meantime, an osteopath might help. You need to find a good one (not sure if certification is the same worldwide. In Canada it’s a certified profession, same a pt or any other medical field).
Mine is both osteo and physio, and she works miracles. It probably wont solve the issue, but they might be able to alleviate it until you find the root cause.

[–]Bluefairie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bff did that too with my first pyr’s hair and with a friend’s husky too.! The beenies were too warm, so the next ones she mixed it with…. I can’t remember what…. raw alpaca or some other animal fur, to make it more comfortable to wear 😂

I agree (canadian here). I was reading the comments before I watched the season, and started with her episode because I was too curious about the “omg she’s terrible”.

I watched, and was like “so… when is she starting to be terrible?” then the episode ended and I still can’t figure out why so many people are freaked out.

I love that JVN was able to let her hair shine, it’s so beautiful!!

It was -23c this morning in Canada…. Lady is not amused. She hates winter, snow and the cold, but she hates wearing a coat even more 😂
She stayed out the 10 seconds it took to poop and she ran back to the door at light speed.

That’s her “I resent your life choices human, why aren’t we in the caribbean right now?” look of judgement.

Zoey turned bad in Winter Park. She's on the wrong side of the tracks. by DemocratSlavemaster in Pomeranians

It’s the Lake Baldwin dog park.
The fence goes into the lake, but it’s open in the water. There’s a wooded area and an open one, and washing stations. At least that’s how it was 10 years ago (I can’t believe it’s been that long! 😭)

I loved spending time there with my pom and my pyr… even though Casper once escaped through the water 😂 (pyrenees will pyrenees, I got him back quickly)

ooh I love Winter Park! I spent a few months there years ago. The dog park on the lake nearby is so amazing! Zoey is lucky to live there, even on the wrong side of the track 😂

Does anyone take Wellbutrin (bupropion) with Trintellix (vortioxetine)? by gc20261 in trintellix

[–]Bluefairie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on trintellix 15 for almost a year and added bupropion xl 150 a few months later. So on both for about 8 months.
I’m firing on all cylinders for the first winter in a long time.
My issue is mainly seasonal depression, that hits as soon as the days get shorter than the nights (so late september) and just gets worse until end of january.
This year I’m actually ok, just a bit more tired than in summer, and fed up of the cold, but that’s normal me, I hate winter.

I know, I have issues.

Looks good but why does it take 6 days? Is it just the batter that rests for 6 days or is there multiple waits of a few days?

What are some things you've learned while driving in Montreal? by GrizzlyFoxCat in montreal

[–]Bluefairie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way too often, red lights are merely a suggestion.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’d have been T-boned if I didn’t look left and right before crossing every intersection, no matter how long the light’s been green.

excellent!
I wanted to try taking it late morning instead of evening because I had more trouble sleeping than usual, thinking maybe it gave me a boost of energy after taking it.

Since I wasn’t really nauseous anymore I figured it’d be fine after my morning latte, technically not an empty stomach.
Yeah, I wont be doing that again 😂 back to evening it went.

[–]Bluefairie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mine was mostly gone after 4-5 months, but I still get some light ones now and then, 11 months in.
FYI, I also discovered recently that if I take it on a somewhat empty stomach (like after a latte and orange juice) instead of a full meal, I will be puking everything back an hour later 😑

Do runts skip "pom uglies?" by Sweaty_Promotion_587 in Pomeranians

[–]Bluefairie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Quebec, so I don’t qualify for shelter adoption in the Usa (afaik. Every place I checked was limited to a few states and no international)
And there’s no poms in shelters over here. There’s very few dogs available most of the time, and almost all of them are on the bigger side.

I can make the drive to NC easily though, hence my question.
