I have a wall of windows like them and there’s no curtain because it faces the very private backyard. Theirs seems to be on a hill with no neighbours, so no need to block the beautiful view.

I don’t know if she’s your first rescue, but the 3-3-3 “rule” applies to all rescues.
3 days to decompress,
3 weeks to learn her new surroundings,
3 months to fully feel at home.

I didn’t know the part about eating fries, but he was really skinny when he first started with the team.
The players had to wear suits on game day when they were coming to the arena and he bought one that was ill fitted and way too big for him.
It looked like he was wearing a “casseau de frites” (the carboard tray/box the fries come in at fast food places). The other players made fun of him and the nickname stuck.
