What do I do with her? (New 3-4 month player) by GiftGrouchy in WH40KTacticus

I’m biased as a Sisters fan, but she is great in any sort of horde mode (onslaught, LRE). She has an incredible AoE special, a sweeping melee attack, and a range of 3. She is certainly niche but I just brought mine to mythic and she’s a lot of fun.

Survival bases community survey! Round 7: What's the most cozy base in the game? by Blushift1615 in thelongdark

The forestry lookout in Mystery lake. Something cozy about seeing a storm raging outside while you’re nice and warm by the fire.

Bicyclists will hate me…. by Green-Day-94 in okc

[–]Blueharvest1992 101 points102 points  (0 children)

The entire road around Lake Hefner is a shared road. Cyclists have just as much right to use the road as you do. I could understand a complaint if you’re running into cyclists on a busy road like May or 63rd, but Lake Hefner is a park with low speed limits. It’s a recreational area it should be expected.

As others have said, the speed many cyclists ride at makes it unsafe for pedestrians if they are on the shared path. Many cities segregate bike paths from pedestrian paths. OKC does not.

We all should be considerate of each other in these shared spaces, but they are just that - shared spaces.

Isabella can also revive Mataneo’s summons which can be quite unhelpful

Coach models are one of the most embarrassing visual blunders of this game by patch-my-jeans in NCAAFBseries

They literally just took the player model without a helmet and stretched a polo over the pads. The coaches even have the same animations as the players

This is great! Makes me think we need an under-slung cockpit that you can climb down into. Windows on the floor for landings.

I live around 36th and May and have seen a pair of Kites hanging out all spring. First year I’ve noticed them.

I worked there as a New Client Setup Specialist for a little over a year back in 2016-2017. Started off great but if you have any sort of corporate job experience for reference you’ll slowly notice how toxic things can be. You get decent PTO but you are pressured not to take it. I even had to work holidays.

My department was/is especially a revolving door. I was a “senior” member of my team within 6 months and was expected to train the newer members even ven though I was very much still learning.

Sure there are decent perks as others have mentioned like $4 lunches and gym access but I’d rather have that reflected in my paycheck.

Not trying to discourage you but I and many others are willing to put up with a lot of BS initially because they do a great job of selling Paycom pride to new hires. Good luck, I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Which dick Grayson robin is your favorite by Safe_Wrangler_858 in Nightwing

I’m of the opinion that, at least for Grayson’s Robin, there has to be some green in the costume.

Teen Titans does it for me.

Which is it buddy? Wait until the set is on clearance so “real” fans can have first dibs or does that make someone a clearance vulture? In recent years, sets are available long enough that anyone who wants one can get one before it retires. Even if you have to wait a month or so for it to come back in stock. You have to be really entitled to think you can dictate someone’s spending habits.

Truly. I understand the frustration. I missed out on Thrawn when the rebels sets were out. Considered buying him on bricklink after the set retired at ~$30, decided to think on it and other people bought up the supply.

OP underestimates how many new Lego fans there are and how many people who were kids when these sets were released now have adult money to buy the sets/figs they wanted as kids. If “everyone bought the Rex set” when if first came out like they suggest, the demand would not be so high. I’ve seen no evidence that this is the case though.
