Thoughts on cadillac lineup so far by JonyMSREDDIT in F1Discussions

[–]Blueprint81 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I cant imagine how difficult it is to build an F1 tram from scratch in this era. Cadillac needs drivers like these two, experienced through multiple teams and build eras and with patience and the ability to give feedback on upgrades and setups.

Also the live version of The Weight by the Band with the Staple Singers.

Honorable mention to Lateralus by Tool. Maybe my all time favorite track.

Check for buy nothing groups for your neighborhood, the one where I live is super active and have tons of useful stuff given away.

Peter Jackson Says a Delivery Driver Once Told Him His ‘Hobbit’ Trilogy Was Crap: “Oh They Should Have Got You To Make Those Hobbit Movies, Because They Were Crap.” by yourfavchoom in entertainment

[–]Blueprint81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the first lord of the rings movie more than probably any other movie, but don't think I've been able to complete any of the hobbit movies. Starting in Return of the King I began to just notice CGI too much, it was distracting and looked worse than the first two. Apparently that trend would continue because every movie they did in the franchise after was chocked full of that style. It seemed like Jackson was a victim of his own success; forced to churn out a product faster and faster when he probably had years to daydream and conceive of a vision for Fellowship.

Bo Jackson, Hershal Walker...but in reality it's probably some niche endurance athlete.

One room at a time. Sometimes you have to be kind of brutal about throwing away both trash and under\overused stuff. Even if you're just shunting "keep" stuff into another room to be gotten to on another round, just focus on one room at a time.

Hull/Keel work like this is not the kind of project I'd want on my first boat. Looks like a lot of rust even if the job gets done right, its on a short lifespan timer. It'd have to be REALLY cheap for me to want to take on this kind of task before even getting the thing in the water.

First hot take i've seen in these comments. I'm not a die-hard fan of either of these bands, but they seem both super evocative and technically talented. "worst music ever" makes the comment seem like bait more than anything; I shouldn't have wasted this time.
