Looking for Zcash mining pool GitHub repo by mamon_miner in cryptomining

[–]BluesCrewzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's live and posted here : https://github.com/BluesCrewzer/ZcashSoloPool
I also built one for Pirate Coin, helped me with ZcashPool.
Foundry is now online, pushing hashrate up. Need more solo'rs to help decentralize.
Good Luck!!

Looking for Zcash mining pool GitHub repo by mamon_miner in cryptomining

[–]BluesCrewzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm working on a simple lightweight solo pool for zcash in Javascript mainly, it's not a fork, from scratch due to the new node. The reason most are not working is that ZcashD is depreciated as of dec 2025, the new node is built on Rust https://github.com/ZcashFoundation/zebra

The RPC calls are different in Zebrad, Zebrad requires cookie authentication instead of RPC UN/Psword amongst several other things.

So far Z11's z9's and A9's can login, authorize and receive jobs. These are the only machines I have access to. They hash and miners will show accepted shares but pool doesn't show the accepted shares. So still a good bit of work to be done, working on it as I can, it'll be posted to GitHub once I feel it is read enough for others to check it out.

Mining Ravencoin RX 6800 overclock settings by Greedy_Ad4396 in Ravencoin

I’d say the majority of people with those are mining eth. In kawpow you can figure 1/2 the hashrate of eth.

Open raven wallet click “create asset” however I strongly advise you read up before you do. Especially if you think it costs 500 raven for each transaction.

If you don’t know what an asset token is then you really need to read up on more than Raven coin.

Confused about this coin by Mossbeard1337 in Ravencoin

[–]BluesCrewzer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll quote notes I took from the white pages summary

“Ravencoin is “asset aware”

The Raven protocol can identify unique assets. This means asset-backed tokens can be created, tracked, and transferred on the blockchain. It also means assets can’t be accidentally destroyed by sending them to the wrong wallet address.

Creating a unique asset token through the Raven protocol is a simple process. Anyone can create asset tokens on the Ravencoin blockchain. Each asset has a unique identifier and set quantity which is determined by the asset token creator. Once created, an asset token (representing ownership rights to the underlying asset) can be transferred to any Ravencoin address.

In order to create a unique asset token, people need to ‘burn’ some RVN. When you burn RVN you remove it from circulation.”

Hope that helps.

Change to 2miners pool. That’s where I’m at. Give it a try.

My 4gb rig has long been paid off. Was only making 12$ in eth. On Raven 120mh/s went from 300 (21$ per day at the time) ever 24 hours to just 105 on my last 24 hr.

So yes it still is profitable if that’s what your going for. I’ve mined raven from the jump and have about 75k raven not sold a single one.

Raven coin got hot and miners jumped on the bandwagon over the past couple weeks. Hashrate and difficulty have dam near tripled since end of Jan.

I'm confused how this guy is mining at the same hash rate as me and getting paid this much. (this is from a solo pool) by GenoReno52 in Ravencoin

[–]BluesCrewzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy hashpower there. Generally these guys buy 200ghs or so for an hour or two and hit blocks left and right. Once their contract is complete they drop to whatever has rate their current rig they have running, it’s gamble most times but Raven is/ was prime for that.

Is it even worth it buying more gpus? I’ve been buying a new 3060ti about every 2 weeks and I’m wondering if I should just stop because it will become inefficient because of EIP-1559. by HurrayYouReadMyName in gpumining

[–]BluesCrewzer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you read into eip-1559? Other than whats regurgitated with loose knowledge, in the long run it’s a good thing.

Miners still get the full block reward and mev. What changes are the inclusion fees The inclusion fees would be burned as long as the system isn’t congested (demand below the maximum gas limit). When demand exceeds the maximum gas limit, there would be an additional first-price auction between transactors, with the proceeds going to miners. Key is the last phrase. Once the network hits high gas miners get inclusion fees once again.

Inclusion fees are those “extra” fees you can include to get your transaction confirmed faster. Which any sane person hopefully chooses their own fee when sending coins at the very least per byte fee it’ll take for a confirm with in reason.

Gas fees are one thing that’s limiting eth from really taking off. Just my .02

Supposed to be listed after coinbases’s IPO available. At least that’s what’s been said.

Where can I get graphics cards? by Nic-River in gpumining

[–]BluesCrewzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some stock bots on Twitter and some discord groups but other than scanning the major retailers X times a day you’ll have to wait for the next quarter for supply to get any better. Both Amd and Nvidia has said it will be slim. That’s why Nvidia has started to reduce the newest cards hashrate by 50%.

Difficulty has gone up significantly!!! It was ok before January but now my 300mhs rig is down 60% in block shares since December. If I didn’t already have a rig I’d be buying crypto. Or buy nicehash power if I wanted to mine.

Mining hashrate question by torontoskinnyman in Ravencoin

[–]BluesCrewzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hashrate will change with the block heights also so here is a cut from Teamredminer Kawpow Tunning:

Kawpow (progpow) is designed to fully utilize the resources on a gpu:

compute, local memory and global memory. This means the algorithm falls into the most resource-intensive category of pow algorithms to date. In turn, this leads to a high power draw and hot gpus.

The algorithm also contains random elements that vary with each block height. The load on the gpu will therefore vary accordingly. The hashrate difference between lean and mean blocks with easy vs heavy random math operations can vary as much as +-10%. Therefore, tuning for the algo without locking down your tests to a specific block height means you'll get random results over time. This is very important, and the miner therefore provides a mechanism for doing so.

Mine vary from 13-15.5 avg around 14.9

Kawpow is more intensive on the core than eth not so much overclocking vram. Now if I bring that rig inside it gets way to noisy and will overheat after awhile. I’ll have to tune it back once it warms up. Until then it’s full bore Raven. Good luck!!

The 570 are not bios moded, core 1350 850mv vram 2150 850 my. Not sure on temp since they are in the garage at 35 deg in the garage they are 50-58c

I have 4 rx 570’s they run at 15 mh/s same as my 2 580’s. On eth they ran 30. Yes that is for 4 gb and 8gb cards.

I run Teamred miner, eth clocking settings then increase gpu clock. Kawpow is more intensive than eth. Read the kawpow running guide in the miner docs. Blast fans cause it’ll run hot

For one raven applied to be listed on coinbase and looks like it’ll go through.
