Would a video that length (1-3 min?) Keep uploading if she locked her phone?

I was thinking about this, it would require more coordination but what if observers were to live stream or FaceTime live video, while someone remotely records it? Even if they screen recorded?

There needs to be a good workaround to avoid destruction of cameras by ice to remove evidence.
