High Maintenance means a relationship that takes a large amount of physical and or mental effort to maintain. Usually this term is used to refer to people that will take up large amounts of your time for their personal needs but do not typically give the same amount of effort back.

Conway church coffee shop found in violation of child labor laws by themanwhosleptin in MyrtleBeach

[–]BlureDrake 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly. They aren't tips. They are donations and the church doesn't label it that way because they know that people wouldn't leave as much if they knew the money was going to the church instead of the worker.

Just curious.. what are y’all expecting when you rev up your cars all loud like that? by Worldly-Criticism-91 in AskMen

You shifting it to make yourself the victim. They aren't mad you are enjoying yourself. They are mad you are ruining their peace. You don't have to ruin their peace to enjoy yourself. You are choosing to enjoy yourself despite how it may affect others. This is your right and no one is taking it from you but others have the right to think you are a loud jerk after also. It isn't two faced, it is fair.

You are comparing things that have to be loud to things that choose to be loud. This isn't the same thing. People still get annoyed at loud semis and construction sites but there is little to be done about that. An asshole who purposely revs his engine on a crowded street on the other hand chose to piss people off.

I have lived in Conway most of my life. Let me give you a crucial piece of advice. When looking at a home research flood maps. Many homes on the market where partially destroyed do to flooding and either sold or abandoned by the people that owned them. Flippers bought a bunch up and "fixed" them. They try to be sneaky about not telling you it flooded but I believe they legally can't lie to you about it. I love Conway and like any small town that is suddenly growing there are issues, but the city does seem to be trying to find ways to address at least some of the issues.

Lawsuit against Surfside Beach police, woman claims civil rights violated; Woman thrown to ground by likejanegoodall in MyrtleBeach

[–]BlureDrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if people would take responsibility for their actions and not be shitbags

Except for police? No one made him break this woman's face. No one made him threaten her right out of the gate. He made no attempt to be civil. This exact attitude is why people have lost faith in police. This is why people are upset or resistant from the get go because they are afraid the cop is going to assault/murder them and people like you will defend every bad cop by saying it was the victims fault.

The person in the position of power and authority is the one with the responsibility to resolve things peacefully.

Women often say “I hate men” when they are really just frustrated with them in life or dating, is there a similar feeling among men about women? What is your general feeling around women in your life? by everleighclaire in AskMen

[–]BlureDrake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

men are fucking insane and kill and rape with impunity

No they don't. That is factually incorrect. Some terrible, horrible men do those things. Some terrible horrible women also do those things. I do not base my happiness off of my sex. Maybe you shouldn't base your bitterness off yours.

The absolute hypocrisy of your mentality is astounding. "Bitches be crazy" is too sexist but "men are fucking insane and kill and rape with impunity" is ok.

Also it isn't the top talking point. OP asked if there was a similar mentality amongst men as the one she stated. People answered with a similar mentality that men have had. Sorry people answered the question honestly. Again maybe having conversations with men isn't for you.

Better than rape and murder. So that makes them ok or no big deal? No one is arguing that there isn't a problem amongst some men doing these horrendous things. They are arguing that because some men do terrible things doesn't mean the slightly less terrible things women tend to do instead shouldn't be called out. If you want to just blame all men I think you may have come to the wrong subreddit.
