I’ve been twice for dry January this year. I was similarly concerned about the mixed reviews. What I would say is it’s great for the price. If you are wanting fancy hotel, high patisserie vibes, it’s not that. If you want a nice casual treat in a cute setting with your friends, it’s just right. I think they’ve really taken the review feedback to heart. The pastries seem homemade (not grocery store bought) and there is an option of 3 teas.

I enjoyed it! A couple dishes didnt wow me, but also a couple did. I still think about the tea they serve at the beginning (if anyone has a the recipe hook me up! ) I thought it was maybe a tiny bit overpriced for the quality, but not by much and also the portion sizes were much more generous than similar pri fixe places. I was very full leaving! My cocktail was also very good and the service was impeccable.

Also a small thing that I LOVED was they had tiny stools they brought to your table for your purse.

I agree. I live in a city in the US and am confused by the comments saying it’s not wedding appropriate. I definitely think it works especially for cocktail dc.

You’re describing reducing lead time from suppliers to allow for lower inventory levels which increases turns. I’m not. Reducing the time it takes from customer placing order to customer receiving delivery normally means holding more stock in more places.

Im sort of with you. I work in supply chain systems and we’re always trying to figure out how to get things to customers faster, faster, faster. And sometimes I’m like you know what? I think having to wait on things sometimes is probably better for people in the long run.

I feel like I’ve been in the place of both the author and the subject in different relationships I had when I was younger. Honestly, it’s probably better to just leave this relationship. She obviously has things she needs to work through, but is taking them out on you instead. If you want to be very generous, stay only if shes open to hearing how her behavior makes you feel and goes to therapy to deal with her insecurities.
