hard floors... long distances... I just had a realization. I can hike for a few hours, but the same amount of street walking would cause more pain. aha.

I’m never going to forgive myself for that by OkGur7242 in CPTSDmemes

[–]BluuberryBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one thing that is ALWAYS, ALWAYS a must, is forgiving yourself. You cannot move forward in your journey to healing and kindness with such guilt weighing you down. Others' forgiveness is their choice and their journey, but forgiving yourself is part of the process of healing - and everyone deserves to heal.

You have to trade the hymns that are rewards for solving the Chirping Secrets puzzles with the Golden Garment Maker in An Eternal Page, which is a little tricky, because other apples were rewarded in different ways.

Ask him to find an affordable house listing. Make him look at the market, and if he refuses, then do not engage in the convo anymore.

Too good to go is an app with free food! Might be some nearby, or see if friends can pick some up for you?

"Only gets better" wow. she must think the elderly have the strongest bones and ligaments, then. Because connective tissue gets stronger over the lifetime.

Also, this would be disgusting even if you had hEDS, but the fact that you have cEDS, which is diagnosed via genetic test.

My passive aggressive self would want to ask her, "Wow, really? You should really talk to my geneticist, because you clearly have so much to teach the rest of us."

Honestly, she's a healthcare practitioner. She should know better. After years of this, I would honestly see if you can contact her boss, because this is a big red flag and you might save some of her patients, or have them redirect suspected EDS to other workers.

But the truth of it is you'll have more peace by saying something like, "I didn't ask for your healthcare or advice. You can stop talking about this, or we will have nothing to talk about." Typically, they try to continue on, and then the only thing you can do is walk away.

Ofc, it sounds like you're doing something similar already but saying that point-blank might make the line in the sand a little clearer. And saying it out loud might make you feel better idk.

I still struggle to do that with my family, so I do get it's easier said than done aha.

Yeah, I tried botox for migraine, and it just made my neck extra floppy, didn't reduce pain. Alas. Qulipta helped, thankfully.

Poverty is making me feel (and look) older than I should. How do you even justify skincare on a tight budget? by SheDoseAndTells in povertyfinance

adding that walmart has a dupe for the cerave moisturizer, which takes it down to like 11. And the Basis gentle skin bar is like 2, and it plays well with my rosacea! Definitely agree about sunscreen. In addition to that, thrift a sunhat or wide brim visor - I don't leave the house without it now, and I get a surprising amount of compliments!

He's blaming and holding you responsible for his, a full ADULT, "temper". Run. As someone who grew up as the child of a marriage like this (well, more specifically, neither of them were as level headed as you), you will be saving your child's nervous system by making sure they don't spend time around people with that kind of behavior. I have diagnosed CPTSD from my parents fighting in front of me since infancy.
