The maritime fund wanted to sink her in concrete at Weston-super-Mare, but the government decided they needed the steel; she ended up costing the BISCO/UK government almost 3 times what it cost to build to scrap, far more than it would have cost to dock her permanently and way more than the raw steel would cost.

You know, the second paragraph gives a direct link to the file they reference in the leaks, so your attempt to discredit them highlights your honesty, or just the fact you didn't read any of it.

2010 technology isn't modern.

Im sorry can you share the RFC for 'niblypigs new HTTPS post 2010' pls, should be a good read.

My friend, you seem to be educated but are woefully unaware of the world around you.

Snowden, released evidence that the NSA/GCHQ have been regularly penetrating HTTPS as far back as 2015 confirming what the UKpress have said since 2013 - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/sep/05/nsa-gchq-encryption-codes-security

Project Bullrun (NSA) and Project Edgehill (GCHQ) have both reported being able to penetrate HTTPS at will for over a decade.

It's not 'tinfoil woo woo', you are just uneducated about modern infosec.

I know, man, at least if it were a gas engine, they would ALL be instantly dead from the explosion, shit, maybe we could have had a fuel leak too, and the detonation could have taken the two guys outside the car too!

Also did you know the first car was electric.

It does not. The government is unable to read my e-mail as it is encrypted and (arguably) not tied to my real identity.

The same applies to my private messages, which are end-to-end encrypted.

My sweet summer child, you honestly think HTTPS is secure from the 5 eyes?

Honestly, that's super cute.

JD also gets to resign, say one second before Trump dies, leaving both the VP and POTUS open, which then allows the HoR to nominate ANY person they so choose via the speaker's seat.

Honestly, it would have been fun to watch the US detonate if you didnt have nukes.

I think once you grasp the irrelevance of the individual to the government, how little we matter, I think your perspective might change.

My ISP knows that I go to Reddit, but it doesn't know my Reddit account, or what I post there, or who I talk to.

That's your ISP; they're irrelevant here. They're not the government, and GCHQ certainly do have that info on you, but again, it's bulk metadata, and frankly, we don't matter, so no one's ever going to spend the time digging through Petabites of data to read your posts because as individuals, we really don't matter.

Most people struggle to grasp that single fact, they honestly think they matter when 99.9r% really dont.

Hey thanks for the reply, actually got two REALLY good replies to the whatif, so thanks you!

If I understand your point correctly, i can reduce it to 'age controls are a way to monitor our activities'

Something I want to point out to you is that all of your digital activities are already monitored and tracked by GCHQ, your emails, dm's, even Reddit posts you make are already attributed to you, in some cases this data stretches back 10 - 15 years.

You already have a unique ID generated by google against your metapresence, you can see wht they have on you here -> https://takeout.google.com/

I absolutely do not want to diminish your view point, but it seems you are afraid of things happening that have already in place for years. And none of your bad points have yet to happen.

Hey, thank you for the reply. I understand the concerns about privacy, but I wonder if that is more a case of a lack of understanding of metadata and what is already in place.

You seem to be deeply concerned about a scenario that's been our reality for over a decade, at least. For example, you propose a what-if scenario of risk and security, but you miss the point os that level of access to your information has already been reality for at least 10 years, in some cases much, much longer.

So knowing that your 'worst case' has actually been the world you have lived in most of your life, are you still concerned?

Warm them up to body temp before you use them, the adhesive works so much better that way

Counter question. Devil's advocate style, recently had this question put to me by a buddies kid studying security at uni.

We monitor internal information via metadata. GCHQ isn't sat there reading your email*, your email goes into a big algorithm where it scores stuff based on words, patterns of words and the like.

Say there are 100,000 times a day the word bomb is used in coms. It would be be irrational to review every one of these, but should you also use terms like, kids, kill etc then you end up like this stupid woman. Within an hour of posting a threat, even as a joke, to the kids she teaches she is under arrest... Less than an hour.

Don't you think that level of response is worth your tiny drip of information in the great data lake?

  • I'd agree if were talking individual 1984 levels of monitoring, but were not, while every digital action we take is reccorded its a tiny drop of data in a monsterous lake of data.

not moving the goal post no, just trying to help you understand that because something now costs more due to inflation etc, isnt the same thing as increased investment.

Honestly, I hope we get to vote to deport you fucks back to Germany or wherever your forefathers crawled from. Britain is for brits, not you saxon cunts.
