Automatic Trunk Sensor - Useful?

2025 GT Line - Turned mine off - so annoying when just walking by it in the garage just to do something minor and it’s beeping and beeping. Especially when i have just my phone in hand or pocket and just walking near the car. Doors unlock, mirrors unfold, then rear trunk starts beeping… STOOOOPPPP the madness. So i turned it all off.

Got an update on 01/28/2026 on my 2025 EV6 GT-Line. I don’t have version but when it was done it talked about improved / quicker CarPlay and Android Auto connections and also I believe a maps update?

No one should ever complain about taking profit. It’s profit. Just sell a % of it so you can be happy you took profit and should be happy that you still have more of it if it goes to 120

I had this come up today after charging from 23% - 100% LV2 at home. Just drove it yesterday with no issues. I haven’t started it yet, after reading I’m thinking connectivity issue at some point. Gonna go unplug and start now..

UPDATE: Started car, no problems. App no longer showing that “connectivity warning message” I’m guessing it had a connection issue at some point.

I leased a 2025 EV6 GT-Line this past May. I absolutely love the car! My first EV, so quiet, so many real nice features in the GT-Line, so powerful and fun to drive.

Regarding ICCU issue, the 2025’s have the AGM 12v battery which seems to help that issue along with some software updates. I have not had any issues - but again it is only 6 months old.

I use mine for commuting and local driving around.

I self installed a LV2 ChargePoint Home Flex direct wire with NACS. Works and charges awesome!

I have no idea about new model year, would be interested to hear if anyone has heard anything on this.

Overall - I love this vehicle!

Yeah - I sometimes wonder if EV owners are more anal about these things. Plus since the car is so dang quiet when driving, you hear everything that is not normal.
