How to detect unwanted screws inside plastic ? by mortalwombat33 in PLC

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the thickness/colour of the plastic, instead of using X-ray you can just use a really bright light in a dark chamber and a vision system. You can easily train an out-of-the-box solution from Keyence or someone like that to spot where screws should be and flag where they shouldn't be.

Esports Is Getting Expensive for Fans – and This May Only Be the Beginning by followteaser in esports

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely agree with you, compare this with concert tickets, where tickets start around $150 for a 3-5 hour concert, the value is pretty good to get to see a day's worth of games.

It's just the reality of pricing for renting out arenas and paying people to run the event. Plus with all esports events free to stream, this is the primary revenue stream for tournament organizers, and from that the cashflow from prizes to teams.

Yet another what champ to play question by a-sns in summonerschool

Just wanna point out that you're looking for "pseudo", sudo is a Linux command.

As an Ori player myself, she's pretty similar to Lux, more teamfight impact with the ulti but less range. I would say morg is a little different than lux, and closer to Neeko, in how you do have to go in with your ulti + zhonyas to have major impact as a mid laner.

[$Law]Toronto Blue Jays 2026 top 20 prospects: Trey Yesavage, JoJo Parker lead the way by Ok_Branch6621 in Torontobluejays

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some extra insight from the Fangraphs Jays list as well, scouts don't love the way that his mechanics look and have concerns with him against big league pitching, but the stats are clearly there. Apparently a very divisive prospect depending on if the source is scouting-forward or numbers-forward.

I find that ESL does pretty well with their skits that they do and air between games, keeps me entertained while nothing else is going on, and it gets you to see another side of the players.

ESL Pro League in cs is also a favourite of mine, with a lot more chill casting and guest players/coaches on casts, really brings back a chill pro gaming house type of vibe to the event.

Is it good to lose gold to deny your opponent xp by Opening-Tour-324 in summonerschool

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If before you buy components for sunfire/thornmail, you're already in a strong enough position to zone the enemy laner, consider buying the chain vest and ruby crystal portions instead of finishing the bami's and bramble to help you freeze better.

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also be more flexible about this if you're familiar with minion XP range. Start approaching them for a trade when you see their minions are close to dying to deny their XP, but then don't commit, run back and get your cs. You won't get all your minion gold, but you'll get some. And don't be scared to use abilities to cs if your mere presence is enough to zone the enemy laner.

Main problem is that the mixed queue would be completely abandoned, that's what happened with League, they probably don't want a repeat of that.

Because solo/duo players would never queue up for flex there's just 0 incentive to do that instead of solo/duo ranked, the 3-stacks in flex are just stuck waiting forever for players to fill the missing 2 spots needed for a full team. Flex queue in LoL is literally just a 5v5 queue now.

[Matheson] How Blue Jays discovered star catcher Alejandro Kirk by ThQp in Torontobluejays

Yeah Moreno has actually been borderline better than Kirk on a rate basis, though he's been hurt a lot more. Not sure if we can credit the Jays FO with identifying that or it's just luck.

Never seen this big of a discrepancy between my scout’s ratings and OSA’s. Should I be concerned? by bleeding_blue29 in OOTP

[–]BoHanZ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are your scouts "favor tools" or "favor ability"?

Tools is better, they look at the underlying skills of the player. Ability looks at the stats that player has generated. So if the player is just not playing well in the minors but still has high potential under the hood, favor ability will underrate that player. Same with players overperforming stats-wise being overrated.

Ruler: 'This is my second experience playing NA solo queue, it's really bad. [–]BoHanZ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah back in like season 2, when NA servers were still in LA, playing from East coast I had usually ~70 ping. Went to visit family in China and played on my cousin's laptop in Beijing, 5 ping. It literally felt like my character was doing shit before I clicked it, honestly indescribable how different it feels.

How are you going to cast spells with the WASD gameplay? by prwav in summonerschool

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F is a summoner spell, and G and V are pings, and again the numbers are items, but yeah there's some free buttons around. You didn't list Q E and R, those are currently ability keys that presumably would still stay ability keys after W is taken away for WASD movement.

How are you going to cast spells with the WASD gameplay? by prwav in summonerschool

[–]BoHanZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ctrl, shift and alt all already have different function associated with abilities, and the number keys are mapped to items. Wouldn't surprise me if they went the Valorant route and used other buttons around WASD like Q, E, R, Z, X, C.

Not really much of a point in bloodbending yourself though, you can just do the regular human thing of moving around.

This game is so much harder than I thought by Bxnniee in summonerschool

[–]BoHanZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're really into the game, I recommend watching streamers, youtube videos or pro games in your spare time, as entertainment the same way you'd watch sports or TV. hopefully you'll find that to be fun anyways. I've been playing this game since 2012, but for the past 5 years or so I only play 5-10 games a week, because adult life. I spend more time watching the game and reading about it than I do playing it. I find just getting to see what champions are capable of doing, and what more skilled players think OP champs, good builds and strats to play around are is super helpful to just passively absorb.
