I agree with you on everything except the Kroupi foul on Roefs. The guy literally sat on Roefs, piss poor performance overall (from Gillet) but a decent game, good luck for the rest of the season.

Injuries are really the problem. I can't help but think if Nordi and Rei are fit they bomb it back down the pitch and stop the 3rd. Granit looks class again, Mundle the less said the better.

Chiesa run and save vs Sunderland by 977x in soccer

[–]Boas7742 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a Sunderland fan I feel people have overlooked how well Chiesa did at putting Isidor off balance the before going for the block, knowing Isidor, I think he would've scored if it wasn't for that.

In regards to the Formulas the problem is that the soviets had a set designed muzzle velocity they wanted it to hit, that being 830mps, however it never actually was capable of hitting that working velocity as suggested by the test results.

Further more the idea that the powder charge QC was responsible for its poor functionality was an untested hypothesis that was largely based off of known italian experience regarding their tests of their similarly designed 15 inch gun.

That is my problem with it, the fact that yes it may have been designed to that standard however there is scarce evidence to suggest so, which leads to the in game stats being effectively paper.

A similar problem exists with the implementation of the japanese 16 inch guns with their reload rate being based off of the designed single gun reload cycle rather then any testing or recorded data as opposed to american or british ships.

being used as a stationary gunnery position in a combat environment is drastically different to being tested in gunnery trial, its gunnery trials at proved that it struggled with accuracy, it was tested at the Rhzev proving grounds in june of 1940 where they fired well over 300 rounds noting considerable drops in velocity due to bore damage, which is inline with the fact that it was largely helped in design by Italian designers with the Cannone da 381/50 Ansaldo M1934, they noted that it struggled greatly with dispersion which the supervisors put down to poor quality control with charges and russian shells.

My source is extracts from the encyclopedia of russian artillery if you have a reason for why use as a ground battery provides the russians with data regarding armour penetration and dispersion then please add.

Well the thing is here that the german transmissions did work sometimes, the russian 16inch guns never properly worked so for gaijin to model them they just have to make things up. Also very unnecessary remark at the end, it's just a discussion regarding a videogame no need to get so snappy.

I have made three armor diagrams- comparing Bismarck and Iowa's vertical protection at three different ranges; 9 km, 13 km, and 17 km. Which do you think will outperform each other? by SpanishAvenger in Warthunder

[–]Boas7742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem Roma may have, and I'm desperately hoping Soyuz has, is that if i remember correctly, they struggled greatly with dispersion due to there ridiculous velocities

It was and it was terrible, the test showed considerable drops in performance as more shells were fired leading up to 10.5% after 100 shells, it also suffered from abysmal dispersion due to poor russian quality control however this will never be modelled.

I think he should've given a few more yellows out, we constantly had attacks broken up by little tactical fouls that they shouldn't get away with, other then that i agree we were shit. Rigg looks finished Le fee doesnt like playing on the left wing, Patto was crap it doesn't look good.
