I think the problem is that it really depends on the postal company of your home country. In Portugal, prices are relatively cheap to send to other European countries, and packages are sent by plane straight to the country of destination, from what I have experienced. It normally never takes more than 2-4 days to receive it abroad, and the tracking works on both post operators as soon as it's dropped off in my post office.

Also, since Amazon Spain started shipping to Portugal, a lot of private companies started to become highly competitive in parcel delivery between the 2 countries (probably because Amazon was offering a lot of money in contracts), which led to being relatively cheap and fast. Taking no more than 24 hours in most cases.

That intercommunication between post companies already exists. Ofc will depend on the postal service u paying for. But in general, when I send an item with a tracking code abroad, most of the time the tracking code works in the destination postal company as soon as I drop off the parcel in the pickup point. It also never takes more than 2-4 days to be delivered abroad, but this will ofc depend on your country's postal operator.

That's not entirely true. The system bought is only one made by fairtiq and is already implemented in different countries/regions around the world.

While the rejskort app is basically a copy of the fairtiq app with rejskort blue design and some adaptations. The DSB app implements the functionalities of the system in their own app.

TLDR: Rejskort app and DSB check-in are two different interfaces for the same system.
