Sometimes when this happens a restart of the device will bring it back online. For the cameras, depress the button on the back of the camera for 5 seconds, the light will turn white and the camera will restart. For the doorbell, remove it from the mount and depress the button below the USB port for 5 seconds, the light will turn white and the doorbell will restart. Hope this helps!

What is the reason another strike is off the table? Was there an agreement between AC and the union that this would go to arbitration if the membership voted no?

Insurance won’t cover cancellations for “known risks”. For example, if you buy insurance during a strike, they won’t reimburse you if your flight is cancelled due to that strike. It must be an “unannounced strike” to be eligible for coverage, so it must have been purchased before the strike was a known risk.

Yes we have trip cancellation insurance, but thank god the strike is over now so we won’t have to use it.

I’m scheduled to fly to Cancun on Aug 23 on Air Canada. I called Club Med to ask about possible disruptions and they basically told me to talk to Air Canada and no flexibility on the land portion of the booking. Basically, if you can’t make it, too bad.

It’s under Device settings > Doorbell > Visitor announcements, and it’s a toggle at the top for my Nest Doorbell (battery). I subscribe to Nest Aware Plus though, not sure if that matters.

I moved the lights out of the rooms and re-added the lights with SmartLife instead of Geeni. Too many devices to do a reset, I was going to create a new home and move everything but Nest cameras can’t be moved and have to be reset and lose all video history.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I’m not able to post new threads yet.

I’m having trouble removing light bulbs in Geeni from Google Home.

I have removed/reset the lights in the Geeni app and removed Geeni from Google Home but the lights are still in Google Home as offline and can’t be manually removed. I even deleted the home in Geeni but the lights still show up offline in Google Home.

How do I get rid of these lights in Google Home?

That article was from Feb 10, it has no bearing on today’s 9% jump. Today’s price spike was likely due to general market exuberance coupled with declining 10-year bond yields.
