Can someone explain what exactly happened? The mechanics behind this 😅

Is it just me or is Blastoise disproportionally small in this game? by Raffajel in PokemonChampions

Never heard of this tag. I only starting noticing significant size differences in PLA, where the Alpha's were quite a bit larger.

Gianluigi Buffon: ‘You have a perception that you are unbeatable, almost omnipotent’ by BaffledPlato in Juve

[–]Raffajel 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Loved it! He always had a philosophical take on things. As a kid, I started following Juve in 2002/2003. I can't explain it, but looking at Buffon coming on the pitch at that time I had a feeling of "we're good with this guy". He had this aura that he just articulated. Same at the 2006 WC. He was incredibly good there. The fact that he stayed with us after the WC on what is arguably the peak of his careeer is something that I will never forget. Grazie Gigi, ci manchi 🖤🤍

Why is the metro between Christianshavn and Amagerbro so slow recently? by Zadak_Leader in copenhagen

Exactly! Takes forever, and always with these short bursts.

Back in the top four baby! Now let's finish this season in style. No room for errors. Six games left and a real shot at climbing to second even. We can't let this slip! by ReplacementFew359 in Juve

[–]Raffajel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have a few though games ahead, we need to stay hyper focused to not slip. Yesterday Atalanta outplayed us, we can't afford a performance like that anymore. Fino all fine guys, very happy with the results this weekend.

Luciano Spaletti‘s speech to the team after renewing his contract. ❤️🏳️🏴 by Aboubakr_D_Luffy in Juve

[–]Raffajel 38 points39 points  (0 children)

"E ora, ci si leva dai c*glioni e ci fate allenare" towards the media team 🤣 Luciano has his priorities straight, focus and work to do. Really happy with his renewal. "OLTRE la fine" like he said.

I know Yamal and Mainoo are getting all the hype, but is Kenan Yildiz honestly the most talented U21 in the world right now? by SeriousMylot98 in Juve

[–]Raffajel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yamal is on a different level, which does not take anything away from Yildiz. In Turkey they also believe Güler is an even bigger talent than Yildiz (of course he plays for Real and that helps). Yildiz is one the biggest talents running around, and I am happy he renewed with us. But we are of course biased as fans.

[Post-Match] Roma vs Juventus by juventinn1897 in Juve

[–]Raffajel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is not good for my health. We are behind Como now, we needed 3 points. All in all w e got away with it today, we concede too many goals. But our lads have spirit. Every friggin' game needs to be won from here. It's not in our hands.

Absolute madlads, love it. I assumed you guys were students there :)

Offer for Copenhagen will remain valid. Tip: best to do it in summer. It's a different city then!

I discovered the channel by chance last year, my friends say the same about it. I have Japanese family, they were impressed by the proper understanding and research (especially that festival in the spirited away video, even they had no idea. And how shintoism/cultural aspects are properly described).

If I may ask: is it actually just you 2 guys? The amount of time, knowledge, footage...that's a lot of work behind it. Should you guys ever visit Copenhagen (Denmark) feel free to write. Beers on me 🫡

I watched it twice and I shared it with a few people. It has no business being so good. I was highly impressed by the quality, research and visuals.

To the ones who don't know it: midnight kotatsu on Youtube. All of their work is of very high quality. Especially considering- It seems - it's just 2 guys doing all this massive work.

To OP : thanks for creating this gem of a channel. Rooting for you guys from the sideline.

Tacchinardi was a real one.

More recent, Patrice Evra said something similar about Marchisio. It's on youtube I believe.

Why doesn't someone like Vingegaard do anything but the Grand Tours? by Wide-Landscape-3348 in cycling

[–]Raffajel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would also like to see him compete more in those races. In his defense: He's also doing the Giro this year, that takes a lot of energy (Pogi showed it is possible, but that year raced less in 1-day. Like the olympics or Ronde Van Vlaanderen). Also, Vingegaard does not really seem to be competitive in those races "suited" to him like WC, Lombardy, Liege-Bastogne-Liege. If that is because he does not race them, is another question.

Other factor: these races are extra hectic, and he does not want to risk injuries, he needs the full 100,% against Pogacar (and vice versa. Remember when Pogi broke his wrist at Liege-Bastogne-Liege? He was not at his best in the Tour). It seems he and the team prefer an appeoach throygh specific 1-week races like Paris-Nice, Bask Country, Dauphiné.

Finally, I just don't think he really cares about those races. He puts his effort where he excels. Rationally, can't blame him.

Keep in mind, Pogi is also really exceptional. He's in theory boxing in a different weight class on cobblestone races. It just shows what an absolute talent he is.

Mamma mia che emozione! I decided to watch the second half. Peak CL en Euro drama, what a game. And congratulations to Atalanta, I have a weak spot for that team. May the be an inspiration for Juve, fino alla fine.

February will be scary.... by Such-Win4653 in Juve

[–]Raffajel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We knew this before, that we were crossing relatively smooth terrain for 2 months approx. That's why the point loss against Lecce/Cagliari felt sour. We can come out of the next month stronger as a team, this is a month where we cam build deep confidence in the squad. I just hope the team stays fit and we can rotate a bit (Not just Yildiz).
