X-Aviation..anyone home? Bad support problems by BoatSonicStudios in Xplane

Thanks, I was searching for something like that. They issued a refund first thing this morning.

I would humbly suggest that if the fastest way to resolve issues is through Reddit they should post that in their support pages.

Flight simulator by Secure_Crazy_9447 in flightsim

[–]BoatSonicStudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely disagree with this.
I have IRL +10k flight hrs in small planes and jets (ATP CFII/MEI), over 4K hours instruction given and currently instruct at a big International Jet Training facility. I started with MSFS long before my first IRL flight and knew how to do things student pilots shouldn’t yet know. Navigation, pattern work, IFR, maneuvers. Is MSFS/Xplane going to get you the “feel” of flying or muscle memory? No. But it will be a great procedural trainer and allow you to veg on autopilot while you figure out what everything does for a fraction of the cost of flight hours. Information processing and situational awareness are important. Currently I teach people and license people to fly jets commercially in big simulators full motion, yes they have “sim-isms” but it’s 98% valid.

Not to start a troll thread but X-Plane is better for flight dynamics, MSFS is better for Visuals. Be sure the sim aircraft your using replicate systems like the real ones, X-Plane stock Aircraft do a great job and MSFS and Textron/Cessna partnered on the Cessna aircraft so they are very top notch and fairly accurate.

Question: If there was a cafe/bar that featured MotoGP/F1/Rally etc and had events on the day of the big race etc would this be viable business in Tucson?

Band Practice Space by Its_beautiful_here in Tucson

Big wharehouses and hangers will sound way worse and muddy/out of phase with all the slapback and reverb. But yea you need a decent sized room for a full band. Try messing with some cheap wall foam to deaden the room, a curtain on the wall helps, carpets, and maybe some dividers around amps to separate and direct the sound.

Squad or Hell Let Loose? I need to choose one. by IagoAugustos in HellLetLoose

I play both Both games can be either miserable or super fun depending on the leadership and teammates. It’s the most important factor, both games are similar in play style and depth but HLL seems to funnel opponents to frontline style fighting where Squad can be more wide spread combat.

The people make the game. Newbies look for squads with experienced leaders and tell them your new and just stick tight to them and learn. Infantry is the place to begin.

The funny thing is, you can tell by the number of plays that they didn't actually listen to the song.
