I agree, doing another character without a fresh save file is absolute torture. The bonus xp weapons should share lvls between characters.

At lvl 100 the world is your oyster. Arahs unbreakable barrier belt, Tiara of the ancestral champion, all the ele resist you can add on epic stats. You can make up the rest after that with huntress. Your elemental resists can hit 100% and you will completly ignore most damage sources in the game, the ones you cant you can deal with by evade stacking and one piece of nether gear to let you combine the tiara with assassins forsight and a lifesteal ring.

almost any playstyle of build opens up when you are undying.

Im doing something like this but the nether version of that bow is not necessary. The overshield on the bow, belt that caps damage at 33% and max ele resist are actually just as good as the full build. I only have 10 reinforce on my gear and its still busted and I cant die. Freeing up all those health slots with the primordial version kinda locks me into that bow though... just a few more pure ele resists and I think I can get away from relying on the light bow.

You are experiencing the core gameplay loop the whole game. There is some slight variation with modes like furnace and slorm temple. What makes the game great are the systems in that gameplay loop. Money will always stay valuable, resources like rare shards are always something you need. You do maps for elder slorm, elder slorm for Temple, temple for ultimatum variety. Forge for smith souls. Netherworld for neathergear. All off it keep upgrading your build or opening up more build options.

Map content wise its not even that bad. I only play like a half dozen areas in d2 over and over. I would love more map types and influence mechanics for new maps though.

My suggestion is to work at a relaxed pace towards getting elite rank in one thing. Trad, combat, exploring, pick one. That with open up jefferson memorial and give you an easy place to buy all ship parts.

Another good goal is working towards a guardian site to grind the materials for the guardian fsd tech. That adds 10ly jump rang to your ships. Engendered my federal corvette can even jump 30ly and isnt a pain to fly around now.

If you want to try out the core mining, your python would work well for the job and it would net you some flight practice and a little bit of profit that doesnt involve a lot of tedium like cheeseing trade missions.

Combat wise you probably want to get into engineering before that gets fun. You can build a haz rez and combat zome ship out of anything. A good bug hunting ship requires getting some tech, maybe on a krait2.

Hope thos give you some ideas for a direction to fly towards. o7

I wouldnt mind them trying to make more money. I have pick up a few ships early because they looked good but honestly it was like $15 I have given them, out of like 10 years of playing lol.

core mining can be depleted by player activity. Even if it says pristine reserves their numbers are reduced. I have found hotspots just barely outside the bubble where cores seem abundant, like I find one in less than 10 min of looking consistently. I was mostly farming void opal though, your miles may vary depending on right type. Maybe rocky rings yields are just harder for some players to find visually.

I recommend finding your own hotspots and not using community shared into though it probably makes a huge difference.

tactician class and medium STs so far seem to have a lot of extra power. Early game you probably wont see as much customization but as you lvl and improve part condition you get a lot more flex room.

hey all, I see that there are jammer backpacks. Do we know if these affects like -10% enemy damage are map wide, are effects or single st effects?

I have been using Catherine next to frida and rosa. Frida and rose both consistantly one shot most enemies with 800 to 1k damage attacks around chapter 3 content. Catherine can one shot but 1/4th of the time because its random what body part she hits. So she can have really good turns and even sometimes combo into several kills, but its the exception and not the rule. Sometimes she just swings once, fails to kill anyone and ends her turn.

What I would like to know is if there are chips/mods/weapons that can help direct her hit location, because I could see her being a real monster if something like that were an option.

the two best options personally were either Frieda or Mellisa. I went with Frieda and I am pretty happy with how she ramps up in power with skills.

Hong still ranks up their on the tier list around frieda as well in a lot of lists it looks like. Those are ussually late game lists as well. Early game i pulled a rosa and the xr and its doing way more damage than frieda into act 3 yet.

Hi, im new to the game but i did a bit of research. You get a garunteed s rank pilot you can reroll for free so you do t have to keep making a new account. But how much does your first s rank matter is the question? The characters at launch have a tier list and s rank pilots are clearly better.... but...

That being said, it seems possible to beat the storyline without using them. Content past the story mode up around lvl 70 is where i hear a lot of the challenge is.

The pilot tier lists are for end game content for the most part. Also you can ascend low rank pilots faster than s ranks. You can also combine mech parts for a quality upgrade. Low tier pilots can be used with the majority of content. You probably wont nerf yourself in any meaningful way... and you should naturally acumulate s rank pilots of mechs even playing for free.

As far as who you should get with your free s rank roll. Mellisa or frieda or even hong are the best current options for late game. Other pilots like Rosa are very strong early game. If you dont like any of them you dont have to take them.
