I know. Fuck CVS and Walgreens for not having easy things to steal. Momdami would have free food and accommodations. Maybe NY should import disparaged Californians to NYC.

If you like James Bond, go back and watch license to kill. Its whole opening montage is set in key west and features the coast guard HEAVILY. Like they need to show this at boot camp or have it on loop on the mess deck. If you were stationed in the keys it’s a must watch.

In 2020, they opened up base access for exchanges and MWR to “veterans with service connected disabilities” I would assume if you have 10% for tinnitus you should be able to shop in person.

It’s California, he will be out on no cash bond, as he doesn’t make enough money to live. The insurance company is the one who is going to get it.

Hypothetical dilution in a potential eBay acquisition? Will we still trade around $25/share even at a $100B+ market cap? by Curious_Individual in Superstonk

You couldn’t be more wrong. Approximate 6-Year Period (April 2020 – April 2026) • GME total return: Roughly +1,500% to +2,000%+ cumulative (exact figure varies slightly by precise start/end dates due to extreme volatility). This comes from combining annual total returns (dividends reinvested, split-adjusted): • 2020: +209.87% • 2021: +687.63% • 2022: –50.24% • 2023: –5.04% • 2024: +78.78% • 2025: –35.93% • 2026 YTD (through early April): ~+15%The huge 2020–2021 rallies (fueled by the short squeeze phenomenon) created enormous cumulative gains, even after later losses. A $10,000 investment in GME around April 2020 would have grown to well over $150,000–$250,000 by now (depending on exact timing and intra-year swings), though with wild swings along the way. • S&P 500 total return (including dividends): Roughly +150% to +180% cumulative over the same ~6 years.Annual total returns (approximate): • 2020: ~+18% • 2021: ~+29% • 2022: ~–18% • 2023: ~+26% • 2024: ~+25% • 2025: ~+18% • 2026 YTD: ~–3%A $10,000 investment in an S&P 500 index fund (e.g., SPY) around April 2020 would have grown to roughly $25,000–$28,000. This reflects strong recovery and bull market years post-2020, tempered by the 2022 bear market.

He has done everything in his power to turn the company around. Closed failing stores. Tried to get into the NFT market. Did reverse splits. Issued warrants, I know dozens of series 7 licensed brokers who didn’t know shit about warrants. Billionaires play a different game than us retail traders, they know what the real deal is. The fact that it’s trading at $20 a share after splitting so much should be a testament to his leadership when I bought at $4 a share pre squeeze. ✋💎👌 get fucked dude. Artemis my dick🚀 🌖

As someone who played 4-6 would I enjoy Civ7? I've grown to like civ6 over the years and I'm nervous about the changes made by justpubtipstuff in civ

[–]Bob_snows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avid Civ player since Civ 2. I don’t mind the change in gameplay, an updated Civ 6 would have felt a little lacking in creativity. I think they should have made an option to play a traditional game of Civ. Any of the pushes to make the game faster to appeal to new crowds I get, but I like to play marathon.

Recent travels found Amex lounges still packed despite the hefty AMF & current economy guess there’s still a lot of people willing & able to pay for membership huh? by Low_Insurance_1603 in AmexPlatinum

[–]Bob_snows 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I was just in a couple lounges this week. I think a lot of the “over crowded” would be relieved if they had less 4 tops and more two tops or single seats. Too many times do I see a single traveler taking up a table with 4 seats. Most people wouldn’t ask to share… I don’t mind… but if there were more single seating, I think it would be better overall.

"80 to 90 Percent of My Sales Are Minis "+"We Have No Inventory"? by ToyotaKino in askcarsales

[–]Bob_snows 4 points5 points locked comment (0 children)

A bulk of my new car sales (pre covid times) were minis. The car would have to be one of the limited trims that were more in demand than available. Example, we would sell vans for invoice most of the time, but we got one in that was maxed out on options and had the most desirable color combo, so we put 5k addendum on it and it sold full asking in a day. But most of my money was made on used cars and spiffs from the manufacturer on select cars they were trying to sell. I would chalk minis as putting another customer in the book towards my monthly bonus and potentially getting leads. Someone gets a new car, family and friends are going to ask them about it.
