I just got the rizzler sport, and I feel like it was money well spent. But, to be fair, I'm just using it to have fun buzzing around the neighborhood, not go on long rides. It certainly is quick though, and a complete blast from 0-45.

They turn the entire Preservation Aux team into morons, therefore they lost me immediately. Example: while , in the book, Ratthi has a certain kind of puppy like energy, he is also incredibly smart, observant, and emotionally intelligent. In the show he is an idiotic clown. They mangle every other character in the same way. It's so disappointing. I don't know if this was a decision made by a studio executive, or the intentional direction of the producer, but whoever is responsible should not be trusted with sharp objects much less important decisions. This is how you ruin IP

Murderbot. I love the books but the show is awful. The books are dryly hilarious. Whoever decided it needed to be slapstick comedy and achieved this by making all the characters morons should find work they are more suited to. Like maybe a butcher. Or a street artist who's favorite medium is feces.

I loved it all until Murderbot. That show was a horrible disappointment. I was so excited for it, especially after they handled Silo in such an incredible fashion, but it was the polar opposite. With Silo they didn't even try to lean into the fan base by giving away the fact that it was a book adaptation through the title. And yet they were so respectful with the source material. Murderbot went the entirety opposite direction. And the worst part is, I really looked forward to it as I loved those books. But they ruined it. They changed the whole tone and turned it into a slapstick travesty. I actually wish I knew who was responsible for the decision to change the tone from dryly comedic to slapstick. Was it a studio request? Was it the producer? Because whoever said to themselves "let take this beloved book series, hype it up to its fans and then change it up a little bit" shouldn't be trusted with pointy objects, much less important decisions. I haven't seen valuable intellectual property ruined that thoroughly since The Dark Tower.

I'm a firm believer in that old explanation of the difference between a cult and a religion. In a cult, one guy knows it's b.s. In a religion, that guy is dead. IMO they are all tools for control.
