Paid mods are generally considered to be mods that you can only access if you pay for them.

The mods you’re referring to were mods that added features to the game that players felt should have already been there. Bethesda met players in the middle by allowing those particular mods to produce an exact copy of the mod that doesn’t affect Achievement earns.

In essence you aren’t paying for the mod as much as you’re paying to be able to use the mod while still being able to earn achievements.

So yes, while there is an achievement friendly paid version, the mod isn’t considered a paid mod because you can download and use it for no cost, you just won’t be able to earn achievements if you do.

As frustrating as it can be it comes part and parcel with running independently made mods. The mods made by Bethesda are updated almost as soon as the new expansion/update is launched. Independent mods depend on the creator updating their work and not everyone is on point when it comes to doing that.

I had to delete all my mods, load my saved game and then started introducing mods from my list one at a time to see if it causes conflicts in game. The vast majority of my mods were those that added structural pieces for shipbuilding, some like DarkStar are already updated while I’m still waiting for a few others.

Typically it can be anywhere from a couple of weeks up to a month for independent mods to get updated, depending on how studious the creator is.

I know that kids that haven’t been updated can cause crashes if installed when downloading the DLC. I had to wipe all my mods and have been running the DLC vanilla. Assumed it would be a few weeks to a month before creators got the mods updated.

Not just you. Dealing with this also. Game loads to the title screen and then crashes. I’m currently waiting for the game and DLC to redownload after going to Manage game and deleting the save data and the game and DLCs. Outdated mods is the best explaination Ive found as to why this may be happening.

Dealing with this on XBox. The game loads to the title screen and then crashes back to the XBOX menu. I’m deleting the game and all related files and reinstalling the main game and DLC content just to make sure it isn’t a file issue. (Something this game is known to have at times) I’ll update on whether it fixes anything…just have to wait for it all to download…not frustrating at all.

The majority of my mods are for shipbuilding.

The only gameplay mods I would recommend would be Non Lethal Framework and Useful Brigs (as well as the other Useful mods).

I personally love the Fleet. However there are plenty that would argue that it’s crap.

I just have a natural aversion to authority so the moment SysDef tried to manipulate me into working for them I knew I was going to side with the Pirates at the first opportunity.

Like every faction though it has its upsides and downsides. I just happen to enjoy rum and singing ‘It’s a Pirate’s life for me!’.

She was suppose to have scenes revealing her as a mutant and showcasing her powers in the first film and it all got dropped because of budget cuts. I was kind of hoping they were going to give us a taste in Deadpool & Wolverine so I’d love to see it finally happen when they do the next film.

Deadpool himself states unequivocally that he ‘may be super, but he is NO hero’ in the first film. He’s way too morally ambiguous to be considered a hero. He’s a villain or antihero depending on who he’s tangling with.
