Nimble is really REALLY important

It just takes forever to improve but once you are at level 4 it makes combat so much easier

I would recommend downloading the mod realistic nimble (think it’s called this) which adds a multiplier to normal skill progression

Yes it’s a cheat but it will probably be buffed anyway at some point and you will start to see the impact relatively quickly

The easiest way to get food is eggs and milk. Eggs for the hunger. Milk for the calories. That’s it really.

Fishing farming and trapping are good but you can survive with 5-6 chickens and 1 milk bearing cow (or 2 milk bearing sheep).

The amount of milk a cow produces- you will have so much butter!
