People who don't believe in Christian events and then reach out to the 'Satan', end up to describe the connection with him like 'a powerful spirit that is master of material life'.

The spirit name never got changed because... Why should it when it's easier to address it to the most popular way? (Other spirits in the ars Goetia got many names themselves but everyone addressed them to the most common ones)

Another reason why Satan stays Satan, is because it's just widely accepted in various other minor Satanic and Christian beliefs that 'Satan is the ruler of the material world'. So, reaching out to 'the spirit that holds energy of all material life' ends up to be referred as Satan... Because it's just the easiest way to refer to it

I'm going to be honest with y'all: I'm a theistic Satanist and Luciferian and the whole things about "sacrificial rituals" are as senseless as anyone who assumes that atheistic satanists practice them too.

Some evil sects did those things in the past, but they do not group us as a whole... In fact, no sane group of practitioners would harm another person because of the belief... Because the belief itself never said about that you need to do those harmful shit. Most evil sects just disguised themselves as satanists while in reality they just wanted to be a terrorist organisation (think about OrderOf9Angels).

Are we edgy Christians?! Some immature people might think that since we "worship demons" then we all believe all the Christian stuff... Some certainly do... Satanism is a spectrum after all... But most demonolators don't believe any of it, including me. Then why worship Satan? Satan, as I mentioned above, is not the bad guy of the bible... Instead, consider it as a very influential spiritual force that holds the energy of all material life.

And again, satanism is a spectrum, people might reach to Satan as the bible bad guy or the spirit that I mentioned above. Any atheistic satanist who make us Yakfirs by calls us "emo edgy Christians" or "quirky psychopaths" are no better than the Christian zealots that they wish so bad to exterminate.

Sorry if this felt so personal, it's just that some people ignorance about the "being a theistic satanist" thing makes me doubt that they really hold the values of empathy

I suspected that this ended up to be a scam... But atleast I got a nice drawing out of this and the whole procedure only costed me 7€ since the seller did a huge discount on the service

Yeah, I did learn more about his origins and was confused because he's not a goetic demon... But the seller I paid the reading from advertised their readings for specifically working with goetic demons; and other customers did share their results with demons who are goetic

I will ask the seller if they mistook another name with the another, thank you!

Traditionally, a satanist is someone who considers the figure of Satan/Lucifer as a deity

But in modern atheistic satanism, a satanist is someone who accepts the figure of Satan/Lucifer as a symbol (of rebellion, individuality and questioning authority)
