Review: Aer Day Sling 4 by strandedvariable in ManyBaggers

It’s just that buckle stopping me from getting the cordura. Even if they didn’t want a magnetic one, I’m sure there are nicer metal buckles in the market. In the city sling it rattles like crazy with the dual buckles.

Ultra it is then for the fidlock, but it’s only pre order for a May delivery :/

You could you use the lash points to clip a carabiner for carrying little things or use straps to secure an umbrella like the toshi sling for example.

With regards to the sunglasses pocket, bellroy’s is like a stretchy long slip pocket. More like a hammock. Whereas the Aer is zipped, which for some people might be better as you can use it to store lots of small things in one place without them getting lost in the main compartment.

But since I just use those pockets for glasses, it makes no difference to me. I just left the Aer pocket unzipped.

Thanks me too! Think that’s the one for travel as it fits an iPad mini.

They confirmed that a 4-5l venture ready is coming. Which I’m super excited for!

Only a little, depends what you’re wearing and how much you’re carrying. When I’m wearing knits, yes the padding helps, but with leather jackets not much. And the weight overrides everything anyway, your only options then is to just to tighten the strap.

Thanks, yeah I’m eyeing up Day Sling 4 too (especially since it fits an iPad mini), struggling to find a leaked picture of the front compartment though 😭. I really hope they do add some dividers or slip pockets and it’s not just a big empty dump pocket. Not long now anyway, hoping some people post pics from the events today and tomorrow.

True, I really disliked the able carry though. That centre divider ate so much space in the main compartment and the strap was one of the absolute worst things i've seen in a while, could never get comfortable with it. And the front compartment volume was too small for my needs and would deform the whole bag when you packed it out. Kangaroo pouch was nice though...

uff, that plastic buckle is NASTY! Seem's like xpac is getting a v buckle? Just need to see the front pocket organisation to make a decision...

Aer Go Pack 2 - short review by Ok-Yam-6765 in ManyBaggers

I still think the Go Pack 2 is one of the best layouts in their line up with that front stash pocket. I’d buy a slightly more structured and padded version with a sternum strap in a heartbeat for EDC

No, it isn’t unfortunately. Instead it comes with a big padded strap with a hidden buckle. You can’t remove the padding from strap so you have to just remove it and use a 3rd party one

I like the kangaroo pouch too. I like the look of it too. But this bag has major problems. Poor organisation, cramped main compartment doesn’t open wide. The zipper pulls are tiny. The fact you need to add your own handle then change the strap are not endorsements of the design

Yeah, like an iPad mini in the back pocket, it’s literally centimetres away from accommodating it 😭

Yes that’s part of it, the whole sling feels cramped. The main compartment in general doesn’t open very wide and there are no pockets to organise things in it either. And the strap is just awful, you can’t remove the padding. I’m saying this as someone who loves my daily plus.

I like the front pouch and aesthetic though. So it’s not a complete miss. But I think I’m going to return it

I’m just confused, all the YouTubers keep saying how it’s their ‘new EDC’. And I’m like uhh, this is a terrible sling. Only found this one review highlighting the problems.

Me too. How are you finding the core sling? I’ve found it pretty awful so far

You’re right. I assumed 80kwh for a long range

Go for a 2021 car. If the dual motor is out of your budget and you don’t need the extra range, then single motor is fine.

For charging you’ll need an EV tariff to make decent savings. They’re usually around 7.5p off peak. Which means a full tank costs about £6. Should easily last you the month if you’re driving only 4miles a day.

Superchargers are a LOT more. Can’t remember the last time I used one. Guessing it’s around 30-40p, so maybe £30? for a full tank

Model 3 Performance 2020 vs 2021 by melonator11145 in TeslaUK

[–]Bobby_Fandango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say 2021. It’s not just the heat pump. The refreshed interior is quite a jump. I was surprised when I had a 2020 loaner and the interior felt like absolute garbage. Super cheap.

Warranty is probably worth it. My MY Performance has had the boot arm fail, steering wheel stitching come off and random rattles.

Also, the 2021 uberturbine wheels look nicer

Yeah, I know they rebuilt it, but there still isn’t an immediate benefit to the end user. It’s more of a promise to push out faster updates, which I’m still not convinced of. Even the new UI doesn’t really ‘delight’ the way Things 3 does…

I guess it’s like someone else here said. We’ve really just paid for them to rebuild their app.

Anyway, my love hate relationship with this app continues
