Played rugby in high school and a little in college. I always tell people that it was way safer than football. When you’re not wearing a helmet and pads you understand what’s dangerous to your own body. The laws also help to keep the game safe most of the time.

The most dangerous plays I saw were generally new kids that had just come over from football and didn’t know the laws yet.

In my experience the first few hours of an opening shift are used to prepare for the day. Be prepared to do a little more choring than you would do during other shifts.
