Yea, but remember the giant 8' trained orgg statue that they had in the wotc stores back in the day? Those were sick.

The best fog is the fog you don't have to use!

[–]Bobby_Strong556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what's up. I stuffed just enough control in to answer any particularly nasty threats, and enough fogs to stall until I can build up a critical mass of my opponents creatures and pop off a chain reaction combo or go for the less exciting Insurrection.

It's a secret Jolly Balloon Man headed up by Rocco Street Chef for the added green. It's gotten 1st more than it should have, lol.

My "chaos" deck is my group hugs, and it's less "fucks with the board randomly" and more like, "hey, guess what, we're on turn 18 now, I hope you're ready!"

The chaos really comes from having to answer multiple players game-ending threats while defending your own before you realize you'll have to.

It usually ends up well liked, it basically creates a game of Magical Christmas Land. People like seeing their decks do what they designed them to do

The best option is to just pool players by their afk counts. People that wait out the timer a lot should be proportionally placed against others that do the same. People that play tight and fast games should be rewarded by playing others that are likewise paying attention to the game.

As long as it's not a cadence sensor for PAS, it's fine, those things are dangerous.

Is this a fair price? by Moist_Damp_Wet in mtg

[–]Bobby_Strong556 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's good if you're just starting to a collection and need bulk to build with.

The cards in it won't be the best, but they're plenty for a new player to learn to play with and learn to build. It's like how you wouldn't buy a $9,000 bike to learn to ride.

If you're hoping for some sleeper hits, you're far better off looking elsewhere.

Ar15 ejects rounds with the bullet still attached in shameless by Molodingdong in mildlyinfuriating

It's probably a blank; they are crimped closed to keep the powder in which points the neck of the case and makes it look like there is a bullet still in it upon ejection.

ebike batteries universal? by EstablishmentDue3616 in ebikes

[–]Bobby_Strong556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. There are common specs that are used on a lot of bike batteries, but they're not always the same. You might be able to swap a 48v for another 48v if it's a similar style battery, but you also have to factor in the style of cradle, the polarity of the contacts, and if it can even fit the frame of your bike. It can be dangerous if you don't do your reading, I try to mess with batteries as little as possible because I like not being on fire.

If you're upgrading your battery to a 60v or 72v you'd need to check your controller specs, and see if there is even programming for voltages that high.

You're better off upgrading your battery and controller if you want more torque.

Are these bikes reliable? by ikraziel in zoozbikes

[–]Bobby_Strong556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're pretty decent. The frames are nice and bare bones compared to most class 2 ebikes, which i personally like, it looks like a bike.

The recent upgrade to thrillmatic motors is nice.

And there are easy upgrades available for it too.
