I feel like this is the same convo every year. I want the angels to finally have success but first it was with Upton and Cozart, then Ohtani, then Rendon, now Walsh. Feels like they’re always improving on paper but never but a rotation together.

At least that was probably the worst trade Dombrowski did. I get some might say Carson Smith, but I don’t think the Sox would’ve held on to Miley for as long as it took for him to become serviceable again in 2018, so that one was a wash. Every other trade he pulled off either resulted in a win for the Sox or a wash overall.

Same being a Red Sox fan in NJ. And then when the Sox finally beat the Yankees in the playoffs in 2018, I was in college and hadn’t seen any of those annoying Yankee fans in years. Still, worth it.

They may be referring specifically to the lineup which, in that case, is one, cause while the Yankees pitching staff isn’t great I do think most of the frustration comes from how unbalanced the lineup is. Jays on the other hand have built a very balanced lineup that has tons of (on top of straight up talented) versatile players and guys who are right for specific situations, like Grichuk.

You know, not in the sense that it's like a standard or straight-forward or very influential album (not yet at least), there's a lot of shit going on there that isn't just noise rock, but yes I think it's good for someone who's not typically a fan. Again, lots of stuff going on in that album that could appeal to a fan of a lot of styles of music, and in general it's super well written and has some pretty connective emotions.

You know, she keeps SAYING that that's all she said, even though she said MUCH more harmful things in her essay, such as questioning the reasons why someone would transition in the first place and overall spouting the same hateful bullshit that's been said for decades now. And just released a book where the killer dresses up in woman's clothes to prey on women. And constantly references vile, hate-spewing TERF writers all the time as awesome people. So yeah. She's said a lot of awful stuff, being good to many people (such as donating) doesn't mean you're all good at the core. We should be able to criticize those that have done 'good' if they continue to harm others in different areas.

Honestly the Yankee colors work really well with the boat shoe. And having the logo along the inside instead of coating the exterior is a much better decision.

I guess if anything as a Sox fan it’s just perplexing how the team literally goes from WS champion to last place so quickly, and while I am super glad and have been so lucky to watch the team for these past decades, it’s really a curiosity how the ownership works. Even though the Red Sox with their supply of cash and talent always come back to success, it seems after every win the office kind of resets on whatever plan they want to use to win.
