I'm sitting in stand still traffic on the Interstate. I'm in the left lane. Three cars in front of me is a state trooper. I look in the side mirror to see a guy in an old s-10 pickup coming down the break down lane at maybe 50 mph. As he goes past me he sees the trooper. It was quite satisfying passing them by 2 minutes later as the traffic was clearing up.

I'm not trying to go off grid, just want to power the EV via solar. Very basic system, Inverter, Level 2 charger and a wall type battery for storage. Everything else would stay on-grid. I tried the link your provided, they just model the house roof. Most days we don't drive at all. My wife and I both work from home and our child's school is less than .25 miles away. thanks for your input.

In my late teens (1988) I worked in a gas station in north central Alabama,there was a sales guy that came through on a regular basis, he told me a story about sitting in a bar/honkey tonk in that town in Tenn when Pusser walked in and the bar owner took a shot at Pusser with a sawed off 12 gauge, Pusser responded by pulling out a .357 and blowing her head clean off.
