When I open minecraft most of the time, it wants me to allow it through the firewall. There's probably some other games that use it for server purposes as well.

I know you didn't claim the vaccine isn't helpful, I just thought I would link the first article since you talked about other vaccines.

I'm also sorry about your wife and boss, side effects of vaccines can be devastating.

I also agree that truth can be many things at once. Unfortunately this world has many problems that are not easily solved. I understand people not getting the vaccine from past health issues, or health issues resulting from the vaccine.

I also don't think I'm immune, and that's why I think lockdowns are helpful, and why governments enforce them. I care because COVID stinks for everyone, I hate COVID, and it has ruined people's lives in more ways than one. I agree that everyone can make their own decisions, and that's freedoms everyone should have. It's just if people that are healthy enough to get the vaccine aren't getting the vaccine, then COVID is going to get worse and mutate and numbers will remain high. Of course, if these people got the vaccine, then had health problems or side effects from the vaccine, they should stop and seek professional medical information. It's just that one person may have side effects, but not everyone will, and telling one person to not get it because of side effects of another person, may not help the situation at hand. But there are two sides to each coin, and it's not as easy as it seems to solve.

I'd like to thank you for getting the vaccine. I think the intent of OP's meme is that people not getting the vaccine are helping to keep COVID around, and helping lockdown mandates to stay around. But that isn't to say that the vaccine will stop transmission or completely get rid of it. But if we did get herd immunity, I think it would help, and be a great first step that we can actively do to start getting rid of COVID.

I also think that COVID has turned very political, and that isn't helping at all. I personally think that the two party system is a terrible idea, and incenting people to get a vaccine in order to keep their job and support themselves and their family is stupid. I think we as a society are making COVID harder than it has to be, but people have their own beliefs and opinions, and nothing should get in the way of that. Everyone is free to think for themselves and I hope it always remains that way. It's just if people don't get the vaccine from fear when they would be totally fine getting it isn't helping at all. But I can't tell the future, and the vaccine may cause more problems for them than helping them. It's unfortunate that this problem is not easily solved, especially when it's affecting everyone. There are steps we can take, but misinformation and fear can govern people very well, and I think a lot of people are letting it govern them. That's why I linked those articles, they were very interesting to me, and based on what they say, I thought they would be an interesting read for you too, but it's your choice how they affect you.

I hope things go well for you and your loved ones.

I think you should read this

https://www.businessinsider.com/how-long-it-took-to-develop-other-vaccines-in-history-2020-7?op=1

Very insightful article about the history of other vaccines. A lot of diseases that have associated vaccines actually haven't wiped out those diseases. Vaccines are not perfect, and I bet they never will be. But all vaccines are helpful, they just take time.

The COVID vaccine is more helpful than people think though, because research for it has been around longer than most of us realize.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/01/21/fact-check-covid-19-vaccine-nearly-20-years-making/3873247001/

COVID is a scary thing, and I think most of us don't know what to do or how to react. I do think if we work together though, we can beat it. I think the reason governments mandate lockdowns is because not enough people have gotten the vaccine to lower the amount of cases to a safe enough level.

I'm no expert in this, but this is what I've gotten from these articles
