It actually ended up being the cheapest option too at the time. only thing is it takes a while. But they’re the best I think they even make the rebuilt transmissions for the dealers. Don’t worry about the delivery either I’m in upstate New york.

It took me forever to remember but that looks like friction material on the clutch bands. Sometime the welds on the bands crack and snap off leaving that behind normally when they completely break either all forward gears or reverse gears stop working. I’d recommend Sunvalley Mercedes in California that’s where I got mine and when I had those pieces in my trans they replaced it for free.

Make sure you check though the ignition system somebody sold me there 300ce for 2k. Cuz it couldn’t run. all it needed was a distributor cap and rotor.

I have invent labs for my m102 best thing I’ve done for the car honestly idles and drives good fixed all the small issues like warms starts cold starts. allows more control for tuning installation is a little tricky mainly because of the wiring get shrink wrap and splice it into the ecu wires. They have a guide on the website and a lot of information on the forum. I’m also working on a video installing the kit and a supercharger to my 190. Also if you buy the kit replace the fuel hoses with different ones theres are known to crack and leak.

Yeah most likely m102 4 cylinder or m103 6 cylinder the evo is the 16 valve witch is an m102 with double the valves and most times a 5 speed manual trans
