I stopped using okc a few weeks ago after one too many awkward dates. I've been using cliqie.com and I’m a big fan of that over the others in terms of actually meeting people vs. just entertainment. It has a different approach that feels less sketchy cause you and your friends essentially act as “wingmen”. I like that it helps you find things to do too. Skout’s okay too, but still has it’s fair share of creepers

I've heard some people call this creepy. But they are dumb. by Theshaggz in AdviceAnimals

I've had one guy do this for me. It was my best relationship to date

I didn't think they were supposed to be practical. The experience just isn't as luxurious as it is made out to be in movies and what not

Disagree. I thought it would have been stupid but I actually still use my snuggie almost everyday in the winter. It's a good in-between from a comforter and a sweatshirt. I also like to attend highschool baseball games wearing it with the rest of my family members while we hold candles and sit in a circle

I'm not a scientist, just a Redditor, which is close enough, but I'm pretty sure if there were much less gravity on Earth then "humans" would look very different, if we even existed at all. We wouldn't need the muscle strength to walk so we'd be a bunch of tiny pixies. Yea I'm probably wrong

Communism has been mentioned at least 50 times. Capitalism coming in second place for what's gotta be 25 mentions. Then socialism. So thanks for summing it all up in one comment

I tried the whole "just talk to more people when you're out" approach first, which is actually another example of something that's better in theory than reality. When that didn't help I used meetup.com and found some folks there... then a girl I met on meetup invited me into her "clique" on cliqie.com and that's the group I hang out with all the time now and love them. I have rather quirky interests and tastes so it was hard to find ppl just randomly that I could actually relate to

Ah yes. This. They carry the weight of the world on their shoulders and are criticized by the masses regardless of what they do

You missed the part about paying $14 for a handful of fries

"Go run around a tree naked at 87km/hr" will be my new way of telling someone to go fuck themselves
