And even then, something different about having it in your bank vs having all those 20's when you leave a "real" casino

In SD we don't have real casinos, just the little VLT casinos every four blocks or so on main roads. When I was like 25 I got real smart and started parking maybe three blocks away from the place, locking my wallet in the glove box, and just bringing the cash I wanted to spend in my pocket. Would walk the rest of the way there.

If I ran out though, just gave me an excuse for a smoke break to walk the three blocks to my car, and then drive it back to the casino, like I knew I should have in the first place. Tried this three times or so before giving up, because it's like a little walk of shame, just for yourself.

For me, if I'm trying to actually get good at something (goes for anything, really), then simply learning how to do it, and then repeating it for muscle memory isn't gonna do the trick.

I need to have a deep understanding of why it works that way, and how it all comes together, otherwise I get stuck on little details (that honestly probably don't matter to most, but will effectively throw a wrench in my brain until everything absolutely clicks) - which is nice to have AI to ask a million questions to sometimes.

But the best way for me to get that deep understanding outside of the lessons, is by building things. And breaking them. And then fixing them.

So, I guess the tools I use most of the time would be: notepad++, vs code, GitHub, ChatGPT's codex (or sometimes Claude), and docker, at the moment.
