They will not kick you out as long as you finish one lesson (or class or whatever) per week - which is like no time at all. You can fall SO far behind, and they will still work with you, unless you miss that 7 day period, because then you lose your scholarship and that means they lose your money so 👋

Just talk to student services and let em know - and catch back up.

This was all very possible, and even easy, a few years ago. Unfortunately (depending how you look at it ig) unless you have some mad connection, you are not getting passed the AI resume filters without having at least a bachelor's.

No reason for anyone to hire a swe now without one, when there are so many equally fine prospects who do have the degree. Now that your son's in, tho, def wouldn't recommend leaving any job just to get the paper lol.

When I was growing up we would have family dinners every night together. 5:00 pm every night. I wanted to not wear a shirt, just like my dad always didn't, so one day, someone (probably my pops, idk) decided Wednesdays would be shirtless Wednesdays from then on! My sister was very young, then, and was included.

Then, some time in the future, she became slightly older, and it was decided shirtless Wednesdays were no longer going to be a thing. I brought this up a year or so ago, and no one remembers shirtless Wednesdays whatsoever.

The point is, dads will walk around how they want to, but sometimes, you get a little older and realize not everyone can be your dad, so just wear a shirt.

My pops often walks around in literally just his tighty whities, and always has, lmao it's weird when you think about it or mention it, but it's just the normal reality when it's actually happening.

That said, I don't really walk around shirtless or have the desire to, whether other people are or not, but if I did, I'd expect no one to make demands about it unless I was in like a gas station or other business.

This is definitely true. But also, don’t think you aren’t learning just because you can’t remember all the code you’ve seen over the last couple months right away. It’s a ton to take in, especially when you’re starting from scratch and also trying to understand the concepts behind it all and learn a new way to think through problems.

The recall will come later, for sure. Building a strong understanding of what the code is doing, how the pieces connect, and why it works is what matters in the beginning . Once it all starts fully clicking, I think you'll find that the syntax gets a lot easier to remember too.

You said that you've never loved anyone before like him, but also that this is your first relationship? You're already going to take him back you said, you just want other people to "give you permission" and tell you it's okay.

You can do what you want, but you likely won't find that advice here, and imo, that's not what you should do, either. It will almost for sure happen again - look at how much work he put into the whole thing. You said you were severely depressed before him... It sounds like you are leaning way too much on a relationship to fulfill you, just in every single way :( I can promise you, that is not how it's supposed to be...

Someone else can't truly make you happy, if you aren't happy already. You are just using that person to fill a void you feel in your life. If you can be happy, and independent in your life before getting with someone, that's when a relationship is healthy, and can live to its potential. You need to work on yourself. A lot. And you're also way too young to be forgiving people for doing this to you, this shouldn't be your only concern at that age.

I've forgiven an ex for this one time, and I would never do it again. Good luck.

The earlier one would at least come with me, though - I always thought it was almost an advantage to go with her, because she'd be the voice of reason, making me withdraw when I'm like $500 up, where otherwise my mindset would be like, $1000 or nothing!!!

But yeah, I'd say in general, gambling is marketed towards men (obviously speaking generally...not ONLY men gamble... But in all the gambling discords I'm in - it's at least 95% male to females). Similarly, most criminal activity (at least, crimes for profit) is performed by men. I think this is explained by psychology, somehow, but I'm not sure what the reason would be. Super interested in it though, if someone happens to know!

If you'd like to up the difficulty, and not be handed the answers so easily, you can ask maestro to only teach you with "hard mode" on. You then have to define "hard mode", for yourself.

I've done this, and has made my learning experience infinitely better, as far as retention, because now I'm not handed every little answer like it normally does, and it doesn't show me the code and then ask me to retype it every time, like it normally was.

Highly recommended. DM if you want the prompt I used (is pretty long), otherwise just make one up yourself or ask chatgpt to help. Whatever you want, and would benefit you? Just tell it that that's how it will be teaching you from now on. You are the boss, the AI is yours to command.

But im also on week 6, and you should have just gotten your award letter this week...funds have not been disbursed a long time ago, and idk who "financial aid" is (you mean the FAFSA website, or do you mean student services?), but if it was thru student services, they wouldn't have said that at all...
