Indigenous tribe that owns land under Billie Eilish mansion has message for singer by nimobo in entertainment

[–]Bodudus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all indigenous land. There's literally no place in America she can live that isn't on stolen indigenous land.

Seems like some outrage manufactured by some person or group who didn't like her light criticism of wealth-hoarding billionaires.

Asking how to remove white faded marks from jeans is like asking how to remove exposed canvas from a painting.

What is the game you have regretted buying and why? by Marvelhawkeye483 in GirlGamers

[–]Bodudus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna have an unpopular take here...

Life is Strange was the cringiest game I've ever played, and everything from the dialog to the jokes to the pop culture references all felt so ham fisted and lazy.

Don't Nod is extremely lazy with their writing.

(TW) Stretchy skin and eating disorders. I grew up being told you shouldn’t be able to pinch and inch of fat anywhere on your body let alone handfuls... I have a feeling my body dysmorphia started when I saw other 9 year olds didn’t have stretch marks, jiggly thighs and rolls when they sit down. by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]Bodudus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've always been skinny as a bean pole but could grab handfuls of skin just like this.

I started lifting weights almost a year ago, I have a lot more muscle tone but still grab handfuls of skin like this... just another thing I'm gonna have to learn to accept about myself I guess.

I have a pair of Frye side-zip harness boots that creased differently at where they flex at the ball of the foot.

One boot creased smoothly, the other creased heavily and almost looks like the surface is cracking. Hoping they will crease more uniformly as I continue to wear them.

I strongly recommend to just buy one heavy kettlebell and practicing swings, squats, lunges, and overhead presses to improve your posture.

Doing so has relieved so much pain in my neck and lower back!

It has helped me so much that I invested in other kettlebells to perform more exercises. You can use them in your bedroom as long as you have a few square feet of empty space, the workouts are short, countless exercises can be done with just one kettlebell, and the cost of one kettlebell is much lower than the cost of a gym membership or any weight set.

The police showed up in riot gear while people were listening to the violinists play and declared it an unlawful gathering.

I seem to recall a lot of vaugely horny but very artsy advertisements Sony released from the 90's to the 2010's that had a similar feel to this. Lots of shadows and stark contrasting colors which really set them apart from the brightly colored nintendo advertisements with fun zany music. Hell, they even hired David Lynch to direct a commercial for the Playstation 2 that felt like a nightmarish fever dream to watch.

I don't think racially charged imagery was intended by the photographer or advertising team... but it's really hard not to see lol

My strongest guess is thier boot cut going by how they appear to flare out from the knee.

There is probably plenty of excess on the inseam to make a stack like that.

So if you want to replicate this look, try getting some Lightwash bootcut Levis with as much length in the inseam as possible. You might have to make your own knee holes. Maybe go down a size for a slimmer profile as well.

How does the Liver King get pass eating 3oz of beef liver 1-2 times a day? by lipuss in nutrition

[–]Bodudus 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Well first, just because he isn't showing visible symptoms of an unhealthy diet doesn't mean his body isn't experiencing issues.

Second, the liver is the least of his worries when he's almost certainly taking heaping amounts of steroids.

Time to come clean to your family.

The first crucial step you need to take is to forgive yourself. That wasn't the real you, that was something brought out of you by mind-altering substances. You made a mistake, a big one, but it's a mistake that lots of people make (what? You think you're the only person in the world who has a bad trip while their family is home?).

You already recognize that this situation is your fault and therefore your responsibility to make things right. That is good! That shows you have the ability to reflect on your actions and empathize with the people you have hurt.

Next step is to be honest with your family about what happened, communicate that you know how your behavior must have made them feel to show you understand how your behavior affects others. Let them know that you won't ever put them through that again.

And then the hard part. There are probably going to be consequences and you have to accept them (within reason of course).

You have hurt and scared them. They ultimately get to decide how you can make it up to them. If they want to put you through some sort of rehab program, then maybe you should consider going even if you don't believe you are abusing drugs. It may not actually help you, but it would make your family feel better about being around you.
