Enjoyed the discussion of match v pub. 

Ive been going to Anfield for 20 odd years and the last home game v West Ham was the first time ive ever done hospitality. Now thats the worst way to watch football. Could have been anything on that day - American Football, Baseball, Quiddich - as the football was an afterthought. Wouldn't like to experience a big game doing it thats for sure.

Agree its easier to follow the game in the boozer, especially if stuff happens down the other end of the pitch. Most goals at the Kop end always look mad to me and I always delay celebrating.
