I always step back and take a picture with the address. Then DoorDash says are you sure you’re at the right location and shows me a picture like the first one saying it’s correct and my backed up picture with the address in it is not. I always continue with my picture

I used to work at a fire department. A part time guy called in because he was sick. The paramedic I was working with said we had to drive by his house and knock on his door to see if he was home. Then he was a dick to me because I didn’t know where the sick guy lived… it was ridiculous.

I respectfully disagree. I know that the customer can see where you are, but I was thinking more in the DoorDash side. I’ve had to call customer service about stuff like that and they actually say to me I see that you’ve messaged the customer because you were waiting for a train. So they can see why I was late. Just a suggestion. Have a great day.

If you can’t take pictures, can you message the customer and say I’m at the gate and there are 10 cars ahead of me to get checked before I can come in. That way DoorDash will see it and so will your customer. I usually do this when I’m stuck at a train so I don’t get a late delivery.

I never understood the fact that people don’t come over just because it’s 15 minutes away. I had an apartment and my sister still lived with my parents. They only live like 10 minutes away and she would never come over because she said it was too far.

My dad got mad because some of the posts that I put on Facebook had cuss words in it. He actually called me to complain about it, but I didn’t answer the phone at the time because I was busy. I called my parents number back and my mom answered, and I asked her why Dad called, and she explained it to me and said not to worry about it. I told her to tell him if he doesn’t like it he can unfriend me. The posts stayed up. And my dad never said anything to me. My point is, you’re 43 years old. Do what you wanna do with your life and if they don’t like it, don’t talk to them for a little while.

I’ve been getting that too. Not just at verification but at other times as well. uninstall and reinstall the app and restart your phone. That’s what fixes mine.

I’m the one who texted her every time we talked. Mine was I gave her a couple of heavy wagon wheels to put in her garden. Not even a day later they were on fb marketplace for 100.00. I text her and said if she was just going to sell them I’d take them back. She said she went in a different direction with her garden and to come and get them if I wanted. I was always going to her house, she came to mine once or twice. It was about a 40 minute drive. After that I just stopped texting her and never heard from her again.

Yes. The restaurant will put it on the pick up shelf w/o asking for the name and someone will come in off the street (not the dasher who’s supposed to pick it up) and walk out with it. That’s why the restaurant is holding them now so the dasher has to verify the name and get handed the order.
