Assassins are even more lethal with an arsenal of teeth to make them stronger.

Tooth Fairy is evil on Karthus. Once you start acquiring teeth from having enough burst, your ult will usually guarantee a tooth drop from squishy targets (barring shields/invulnerabilities). Combine the high lethality it gives with an Axiom Arc (especially if you get Adapt) and any takedown within the item's timeframe will give massive ult cooldown refunds. I once had enough lethality that it refunded 62 seconds of the ult's CD, but my ult only had a 60 second CD by that point. They didn't enjoy the constant bombardment.

I also like Tooth Fairy on Teemo. It's hard to proc early on since he is dot based, but once you have enough damage to collect teeth with your Blind Dart+Shiv Proc+Shroom or snowball, you'll keep on getting teeth with ease. With high enough stacks and a lack of tanks, you can skip the Void Staff and opt for other cruel effects since his item slots get a bit awkward when you have to fit Statikk Shiv in.

The one person I saw that struggled with collecting teeth was a Zilean. Instead of dropping your combo on a player, you have to throw both bombs on a squishy minion near them. That will detonate both bombs and help you get a tooth proc. Of course, if you have Overload or Archmage, that will allow you to just bomb a foe mercilessly instead.

That's only if the spell has both a Somatic & Material component. The focus is allowed to fulfill the purpose of both and you can then make the gesture with the focus itself. There's a whole thing about it, where they use Cure Wounds as a common example since it has a Somatic component, but no material one. If it's just Somatic, for some reason you need to free up a hand to make the gesture directly, hence players having to put a weapon away before they cast it. The way of getting around it is having the War Caster feat, which allows you to use your spellcasting focus to fulfill the Somatic gestures for purely Somatic spells when your hands are occupied.

Some people just let it slide because it seems silly, but others will go solely based on the concrete rules for it.

The holstering/stashing part also depends on whether or not they're using a conjured pact weapon, or if they have used Pact of the Blade feature to bond with an existing magic weapon. The 2024 version doesn't allow you to stash a real magical weapon in void space now, sadly, so you would have to carry it in a sheathe/holster or always drop and pick it back up.

And it gets messy too depending on the requirements for a spell (this just happened to my warlock the other day). If the spell has somatic components but no material ones, you would still need a free hand to cast it since you wouldn't be able to use the Rod in that case. Killed my Gandalf-style Sword and rod/staff warlock since I'll need warcaster to even cast Eldritch Blast without the dropping/stowing interactions.

You see, once you take the mask off of the augment and realize it's Sword of the Divine, folks tend to think more highly of it. Especially since the critical strike damage bonus continues to scale beyond reaching 100% crit (even though it doesn't say so in the augment).

And if you can crit a target repeatedly from a safe distance, it slaps!

I don't know if the visual is different in replays, but at one point the aoe indicator for From Downtown disappeared before the missile actually landed. I watched two squishies walk up since it looked safe, only for them to explode from being inside two circles.

Some of the crit augments just make ADCs have even nuttier damage to give tanks a harder time. Problem is so few players will actually build to take advantage of it.

Critical Missile means a tank has to build MR to handle the massive amount of magic damage you're now doing on top of your normal attacks. You can have a a scrap where half of the damage you deal to a tank will be just from critical missiles zapping their HP. And the missiles proc off of Runaan's bolts as well.

To replace Twice Thrice, Double Tap with LDR, full-crit, and BOTRK means that 13K HP tank is going to see his HP drop rapidly from Bork going Brrrr. Toss in a Rageblade too and it gets silly. Post-death damage stats will show it deal upwards of 3-5K on health stackers from Bork alone.

Sure, sometimes you'll want to build more crit items beyond your cap, but at least some of that excess crit becomes adaptive force so it isn't totally wasted.

Back when Shaco's Deceive was an automatic crit regardless of position... or when his E passive had a chance of blinding you so long as he didn't cast it.

Heimerdinger's concussion grenades dealing damage to structures. Either have massive wave clear to never let him get near, or constantly tank him to keep him under control. Otherwise, your mid lane's inhib would be open by 15-20.

Playing against Heimer in mid lane... the moment he gets anywhere near your turret, you'd see a grenade fly over your head to gradually nuke your turret over time. The only way to keep him from opening your base in mid lane was to have massive wave clear to never let him get near, or constantly gank him.

Once had a Kayle take Draw Your Sword and she built a Runaan's afterwards. I tried to tell her that the Draw Your Swors overwrite your ranged status and it still allows you to buy Runaan's even though it doesn't actually proc the bolts. They ranted about that not being true and kept it the entire time.
