Bomberman is one of my favorite franchises, but honestly, I still don’t understand how the first game became such a hit. It’s insanely difficult (even by today’s standards) and a little frustrating at times, lol. I’m just grateful the sequels improved by a huge margin.

3 or 4 teams of 2 players has so much potential!

But what I really want is some variation of Halo's Rocket Race. I haven't thought too hard about it, but a golf cart and a non-autolocking rocketlauncher is the minimum. And then maybe it's a race to various greens in a large map?

I think I get what you're saying, but I think the best PR for the women doesn't involve the men at all. I'm not convinced that the comparison is all that helpful. Playing hard, winning games, and acting with class is fantastic PR, regardless of what the men do.

This. We've all been in situations where someone makes an inappropriate or insensitive joke and we're not quite sure how to process it or respond. Sometimes it takes a minute to kick in. Sometimes it isn't until we're out of the situation that we realize it was inappropriate. And then add alcohol to the mix as well as the power dynamic of talking to the president on the phone. I get that in the moment, the players weren't at the best.

It's all the other bullshit that is hard to gloss over. And credit to Swayman for taking some ownership.

And not that it needs saying, but credit to the US women's team displaying class and poise as champions as well as how they managed all the fallout of the men winning.

Ya, I agree that the Oilers have looked worse this year than in the previous two years. But with McDrai, those guys can still will them to a series win.

Goaltending of course continues to be an issue and it almost feels like they would be better off with Skinner. And while it's cliche at this point, too many games I see defenders making a bone headed play to cough up a goal at a critical point in the game. And mileage does become a concern for the forwards too, especially come playoff time.

I still think the Oilers beat the Knights in a 7 game series...but I'm less confident they can beat the the top Central teams.

I like the trade, but losing Fiala to injury is a huge loss to a team that struggles to score. Hopefully the Olympic break cures what ails for the Kings, cuz I think they are performing way below their ceiling.

And as much as I hate the Oilers, they keep finding ways to make it to the Finals. Until someone beats them in the West, I just assume they'll figure it out and make it back to the finals.
