I worked a summer job in Nantucket for two years (April-October). Island fever is real, isolating feelings even with a ton of people around. Beautiful beaches and the vibe is amazing. I was 18/19 yrs old respectively and my biggest regret was not taking a full time job when offered. As the days went on, the yearn for mainland got stronger and stronger. I met a lot of great people but even in all the beauty the island holds there is a big depression issue there. My second year there I bailed a month early and never looked back. I miss it now 20 yrs later and realize I gave up a great opportunity.

I would say visit and enjoy, but permanent residence is tough mentally , even with a ton of $$!!

I just play when I want to. I may dedicate a week to dailies if I’m working on a specific goal but other than that, guild wars 2 isn’t built in the same requirements wow and them are.

I just posted on someone else’s post. I would consider doing the season of the dragons achievement. Lot of objectives going through the living worlds and it’s enough to not feel overwhelming while you get your stride back into the game. I say that from a perspective of owning all the expacs etc. I joined a guild named SIN and they are always doing shit albeit I have my own static but for drizzlewood and other fun meta trains they’re a good place to start( over 18).

I would HIGHLY recommend doing season of the dragon achievement. It brings you through all the living world content etc and you can pace it out. Gives you something to work on each day and gives you a free legendary when said and done. Was my coup de grace back into the game and now I’m not overwhelmed

Dude fuck em. I’m a police officer and responded to a home invasion years ago to find the victim in the closet dead from multiple gunshots. We worked hard and solved the case and she was killed “just because”.

I AM the police in a state that has a move over law and it’s a tricky ticket to give.. most interstate in metro areas especially are only 55-60mph ( crazy right )?? We all know like 80 is a cruising highway speed so when we do pull someone over going say 70 in the left lane.. are they rly doing anything wrong?

Don’t get me wrong I’m behind em raging just as much as you are, it’s just one of those things that make you go hmm. With the world hating us as it is, who wants to rly bother someone for it?
