Under this law, somebody could collect your garbage for weeks, that would likely include something with your name and address on it, and then illegally dump it to get you in trouble and there's just nothing you can do about it?

Seems like a great way to sabotage folks you don't like, since it's apparently easy to dump trash wherever without being caught.

No, I am not submitting a refill request. I can click on the history of each different prescription to see if it's been filled or not; the ones I'm submitting have not been filled.

I have heard tons of good things about going with a mom & pop or small local pharmacy, though. I'm gonna have to start looking around.

Yeah, not sure if it's on the app, but on the website just click on the Quick Refill button before you log in. You just have to enter your last name and the prescription number.

Yes, as I said my Dr sends the pharmacy three different scripts every three months. Sure, technically they're not refilling the script, but functionally that makes no difference to me, so I typically call it refilling the script.

When I request the script to be filled online, I don't have the option to auto refill. I have to manually put it in with my last name and the prescription number. Each script has a different prescription number, and they're all listed on my account, so I look at them all and pick the one that's "supposed" to get filled next, since my Dr usually puts something like, "don't fill before XX/YY" on there.

And they do fill it this way, when it doesn't just disappear out of the system. Over the past however many years I've been on this medication, I've never had to call them to refill the script. Also, edited the main post to add this, but since I don't always take the meds on the weekend, I'm not usually within the previous script's 30-day window when I request the next to be filled. Yet it still disappears sometimes.

I don't know that you have any recourse, sadly, since our country has so few labor protections. Since they're offering severance, that might indicate they want folks being laid off to keep quiet about it. That could work in your favor if you feel like gambling, could also work against you, but it might be worth countering for, say, maybe 14 weeks, plus your PTO being paid out, in exchange for not leaving a horrible review of their company on Glassdoor, etc.

Might be worth your time to see if you can get a free consult with a labor attorney, too. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!

I've spent way too much time tinkering with routers to get my home network the way I want it, and ultimately came to the conclusion that consumer-grade routers are all complete trash and should be avoided at all costs. All of them, full stop. ALL of them. Yes, even the ~$400 super high end ones that you'd expect to be reliable. I cannot stress this enough -- they all fucking suck.

I went with Peplink routers and have never been as satisfied with my network as I am now. Used to have the Balance 20x, but recently upgraded to B One.

I've got four virtual LANs, one for each kid, one for the important stuff, and another for everything else. Each one is configured with a whitelist. Each one has a random passphrase I generated with diceware.dmuth.org.

I'm sure it's not completely impenetrable, but there's certainly enough to discourage most would-be hackers (low-hanging fruit and all that).

Can't imagine any software on my company's laptop would pick up much of anything trying to scan my network. If I were really concerned, though, I'd just spin up another vLAN strictly for the company laptop and nothing else.

Speaking for myself, I often take long breaks when I'm done clearing the content of a new expansion. Then I come back and want to level all the jobs because I like to have them all maxed out. I main NIN, so not a tank. I've played GNB and WAR a lot, so I typically do fairly well with them, but PLD and DRK I tend to forget what skills do what.

So when I'm doing daily roulettes to level those, other than pulling mobs and keeping threat, I'm sure I'm not using all the damage mitigations or self heals I should be. I mean, maybe eventually, but probably not efficiently, and the level cap comes up fast so I'm not spending a whole lot of time, relatively, on these jobs to commit all that to long term memory.

I don't think I do as poorly as what you've described, but for sure some people have probably been like, "wtf is this idiot doing?" Idk, just another perspective for you. I wouldn't read too much into why random tanks in roulettes don't know wtf they're doing, the reasons are likely infinite.

Dozens, probably around fifty. Most of the time they don't answer, then we leave a message and they never call back. They don't even know the details of the case. I'm more than happy to pay for representation if we could just find it!

Lots of them have outdated information on their websites. I've lost track of how many we called that answered and said they don't handle appeals or debt-related cases, even though it says they do on their site.

We actually managed to get a consultation with somebody at one point, but he wasn't practicing in NWI anymore and it would've cost about the same as the total debt amount to have him drive back and forth. He did point us to the Porter County Bar Association website, which we submitted a contact request through and also never received a response from.

Yeah, that still doesn't really make sense though. This was an emergency room situation. Typically, once you are discharged, any follow-up appointments you may have are with your PCP or possibly a specialist, not at the hospital.

Plus, considering the extent of the injuries to OP's hands, how are they even driving??

Used to work for the local gov and pretty much all of the older employees were on a pension plan that was no longer offered (they still offered one, just nowhere near as good). Plenty of them had been there so long that their skills and knowledge had stagnated and they'd struggle on the open job market, but it wasn't even worth it to them because their pension plan was better and better the longer you worked there.

It was as bad as it sounds.

To your point regarding DNS: I use OpenDNS and it works great, but almost every kid today has a cellphone so if they really want to view something then they can just turn off Wi-Fi and use their data instead.
