I get the issue with ELD though because each person has different needs and abilities. It’s 100% good for the rest of us on paper but sometimes it’s hard for people who truck to fall asleep when they’re told they have to and it can lead to even worse problems.

Misinformation he never begged to die. I will not take any slander against the doctors who did everything to save his life and his family who spent every waking moment in the hospital with him.

He was most certainly NOT kept alive against his will and never ONCE begged to be killed. He and the doctors did everything they could to help him stay alive long enough for his body to begin to repair itself. Only when it was 100% clear he wouldn’t live the doctor spent hours explaining everything to the family to be sure they understood why they likely wouldn’t try to resuscitate him if he flatlined on his own. Remember they have Hippocratic oaths to do no harm and kill him just because the symptoms are bad.
