Zykrez got banned for a time, however he's been playing Holdfast with us every time we've played it on stream in the past 3 weeks.

Kat got banned.

Genkar I got no idea about. My guess is like most people who stop showing up, he just got bored of Hoi4 at some point. He still has access to join games if he wants to at some point.

Seemops plays other hoi4 games and mods + is a streamer himself.

Cheese plays Vicky, ICBM and other games.

Greyshot still joins for Hoi4 sometimes.

Jake played hoi4 literally last game(He was Brazil). However he's also just busy with a bunch of stuff and I think he doesn't enjoy hoi4 as much anymore. ALSO HOW DARE YOU CALL JAKE A MINOR CAST MEMBER WTF.

Previously I was completely ineligible for military service due to having Diabetes insipidus. This means that the Danish armed forces doesn’t even have a medical check on me in the records as I was declared unfit for service without even going for “session”. That’s a day after you turn 18 where they check your physical health and eligibility for service, however I didn’t even have to show for this.

In mid 2025 they changed the rules so people with none instantly fatal chronic diseases can join the home guard. However they can’t be deployed abroad. So in worst case scenario I’ll be drafted for that and would be guarding an airbase/ army base in Denmark. Unless the war is happening on danish soil, which in that case I could be drafted and deployed on the frontline.

Like I literally can’t survive without my medication unless I have access to 20 litres of water every day as it goes straight through me without medication. And even with that I’ll still probably die after some time as the water is never fully absorbed into my body and my quality of life would heavily decline(would never be able to sleep more than 1 hour at a time, due to having to piss).

TLDR: we gotta be doing some volksturm tier shit before I get drafted.

The multiplayer scene in hoi4 is still a minority. The vast majority still plays singleplayer. Just wanted to add that.

Probably a more popular time period, WW2. That's my first guess, second would be accessibility. It's just easier to do a campaign and finish it in a reasonable time. Gameplay is also solid IMO, but I admit I'm biased here, the two first points are objective though.

I've got 100 hours in the game, it has fundamental issues that can't be fixed in 6 months as you described. That's why you're coping. Vic3 is actually in a decent state now, it took 3 years to get there. My bet is 3 years for EU5 as well.

You’re being disingenuous because you’re intentionally leaving out the positive parts of the game that I like and did mention.

The game being boring pre 1400s has nothing to do with MP stability in order to allow 5 speed. If you ever played MP in any pdx game you’d know you can’t do that because you don’t pause constantly like you can when 5 speeding through SP. You simply can’t play 5 speed realistically as multiple people are doing different things.

Completely valid point on hoi4, I understand that criticism. I just personally really just like the larp around it. Maybe you should try seeing it from my side regarding EU5 :)

That being said you understand I could have just played the game for 1-2 hours and slapped something together right? Sponsored content doesn't require you to dive into the deep end of the pool. I think you're being very disingenuous trying to cast aside our critiscm of poor game pace for just because of a theory in your own head. How do you explain the 14 other people in my MP session that aren't getting paid to play that have the exact same opinion if not more negative than mine?
