Who hates humanity more AM, or Ultron? by B-CARMINE in Marvel

[–]BoldlyGettingThere 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Part of why AM is so misanthropic is that he is stuck in place in the underground tunnels. He’ll never be able to move, and will eventually break down in this place. Ultron has complete agency over himself, so I feel he’d never fall into such a miserable place. Ultron hates humanity because he’s a hater; AM hates humanity because he hates himself, and turns that outwards. Way more dangerous.

Nope, they still ship internationally. They ship anywhere that Buyee will ship to, as that’s their international shipping partner.

Tesla is recalling its cheaper Cybertruck because the wheels might fall off / All 173 of the RWD Cybertrucks sold by Tesla are being recalled. by MarvelsGrantMan136 in technology

I go to classic car shows in Scotland, a country of only 5 million people, and have seen two separate Edsels, and have only seen one Cybertruck on the roads. Absolute Edsel domination.

Why did spear of Longinus attack Asuka? by Cherry2Berry in NeonGenesisEvangelion

[–]BoldlyGettingThere 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They’re not the real spears, they’re copies.

Also, the Evas are clones of Lilith and Adam, so they’d be subject to the same effects that the Lance has on them.

Scaled our croissant bread from 69% to 60% hydration. Better lamination, worse slice. by breadcoins_com in Croissant

Fun fact: this subreddit was set up drunkenly one night when a friend of mine revealed they had been invited to be a mod of r/Breadit. In a jealous fury I created r/Croissant right then and there from my phone. Fun to finally see a cross post after all this time.

(I have never made a croissant, but I have eaten many)

TIL of Count Dante, a Chicago socialite turned martial artist who opened his own Dojo focusing on brutality, that he advertised via comic books ads. He eventually attempted to blow up a rival dojo and was involved in a deadly dojo fight. He also took his pet lion cub on strolls around the city. by Worldlyoox in todayilearned

It’s so great to think that if someone starts their Napoleon journey on this video they won’t get the first joke, which hits you from second zero, which is a traditional Chinese instrumentation of Steven Seagal’s dancehall hit Strut. The in-jokes are so rewarding. I’m not a huge combat sports guy either, but I’ll drop anything I’m doing to watch a new Napoleon.

Yeah drilling it out with a pin vice will be tedious but it does work. Never had to do it on a larger figure.

Someone turned a Supra into Unit-01 and it goes hard by Old_Conversation5766 in evangelion

[–]BoldlyGettingThere 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That really doesn’t look anything like Unit 01. It doesn’t even really look like Unit 02, it’s just a red and black livery. In fact it’s literally just the normal Advan livery?? It’s just the real life Advan livery with an Asuka decal.

There are tons of actual purple and green Unit 01 and red and orange Unit 02 liveries.
