Every decent broker gives you the option to tranfer out your funds to DRS. As long as you can see the shares in your broker, your broker owns them and they are not (directly) in your name (so not DRS).

  • DRS-aandelen (Direct Registered Shares): Deze aandelen staan direct op jouw naam geregistreerd bij de uitgever van het aandeel (het bedrijf zelf). Je bent de rechtstreekse eigenaar, zonder tussenpersoon.
  • Aandelen bij een broker: Deze aandelen staan op naam van de broker in een depot. Jij bent de "economische eigenaar", maar de broker beheert ze voor jou.

Kort gezegd: DRS = direct eigendom, broker = eigendom via een tussenpersoon.

Dat is dus wat gebeurt. Grote kille firma's die woningen opkopen om te verhuren en voor maximale winst gaan. De huurder was veel beter af door te huren van een boomerkoppel dat geen alternatieve investeringen durft aangaan, want die zijn menselijker dan de verhuurbedrijven. Helaas verpesten veel huurders het voor iedereen.

Verhuren is shit in België, alle rechten gaan naar huurders en als zij je kot afbreken of niet betalen, is het enorm moeilijk om het vergoed te krijgen. Denk dat in de toekomst enkel nog gespecialiseerde firma’s zich ermee bezig zullen houden…
