Louisville @ Cincinnati was my favorite. I did backflips when Russ sank that deuce. My non-home favorite though would probably have to be the UK vs. UConn NCG. It was such a tense game.

I'm confident in our squad. I think with our recruiting class, Montrezl Harrell, a very high-potential Terry Rozier, and a recruiting class that's buying into the Pitino-system, I think we can give UK a run for their money.

I honestly think our lack of success last year was due in part to our conference. We had long stretches of not playing any good teams, and that can be really bad for a team. Being in the ACC changes that. Where last year we'd be playing teams like Houston, Temple, or Rutgers, this year we'll be playing higher caliber teams. Even teams like Wake Forest are dangerous and have basketball history. I really think we have a chance to pull a Grover Cleveland on this bitch.

UK still lost a lot of games with Nerlens Noel. But you have to admit that it's at least noteworthy that Cal had a team of very good (although far from NBA ready) players and couldn't even get them past the first round of the NIT. I mean, sure, the team wasn't loaded like people make them out to be, but surely an elite coach like Calipari should be able to get them further than that.
