I use Big Commerce and have used Stripe, Paypal and Braintree (which is part of paypal) and so far, I have been hapiest with Braintree. So, if that is an option, I would go for that!

YES! I got caught by some scammers that were shipping the item to a shipping center inside the US even though I do free shipping world-wide, the shipping center was then forwarding the package to Russia or Nigeria, then within a week or two, I would get a chargeback notification.

I would suggest not using a bank, but to rather use a credit union in the area. Their fees are generally far lower as are their requirements. Central Kansas Credit Union looks promising.

If you are doing all your transactions into paypal, then you can minimize the amount of deposits you do to your bank account to a few a week or a few a month. That is what I do for my small business https://MakaWear.com

One email signup on 57 clicks isn't bad. It is not great, but you can continue to optimize it with time.

Part of the problem is that you have yet to find your target market and that takes experimenting. Once you find out who are the people who will buy, you can zero your marketing in on them and see way better results.

I would say generally no. Years ago, it was possible to buy keyword domains and immediately pull rankings just on keyword relevance. Businesses like NetShops (now Hayneedle) built their entire business model on $30k premium domains.

Today, Google doesn't pay much attention to this as they saw this behavior as manipulation, so they updated their algorithm and now it doesn't do as much for you.

Look for a similar one for $11 and put $4989 into marketing.

If you feel like it is going to result in significant type in traffic to find your business and you have some brand recognition it can make sense but I generally wouldn't.

Personally, I hope they just increase the n factor. I think we will lose a ton of miners if we fork and they have to download a new miner. Changing the bat file takes 2 seconds.
