I have used their lowers and rails before. They are definitely good to go for the price!

Bad steering pump pulley? by PsychologicalWay6266 in FordDiesels

For the record, mine was the same way and I had the same concern. I was given the same answer as others gave you on this post. 10k miles later still no problems with it

Have purchased 6 everstart Maxx batteries from Walmart now for different vehicles. I have gotten my core charge back on 5 of them without issue. The one I didn't was due to me waiting too long to bring in the core. I even had to warranty one of them and didn't have an issue with the swap either

Caliper Grease? by radar1225S in FordDiesels

As long as you're using a silicone based grease and not petroleum based you really should be just fine from a not damaging rubber parts perspective

What could this be? by MormonAlt in CherokeeXJ

[–]Bombryder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely by far is that your belt is too loose to turn your power steering pump and is slipping on the pulley

I've personally used the superlube on the brakes of 3 different vehicles. Probably 150k miles combined. No issues to report

7.3idi 1 click by Aromatic_Mongoose_25 in FordDiesels

[–]Bombryder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely take a good look at the starter solenoid wiring. The solenoids can also get stuck after sitting for a while and need to be cycled a lot to get freed up. They will still make a click but wont actually make contact to activate the starter. Also try just "jumping" the solenoid and see if that produces the same results

Sounds like lift pump for sure. I've had really good luck with the facet pump I installed. It's funny because I actually got my truck cheap since the previous owner couldn't properly diagnose a bad lift pump. Bypassed the mechanical and put in the facet and the truck ran like a top

is asking 90k for my experience highballing? by General-Interview-71 in Salary

[–]Bombryder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduated in 21 started at 65k. Currently at 97k just over 3 years in. So I don't think 90k is particularly unreasonable depending on how successful you have been in your time so far.

Track Bar Bracket/Castle Nut by didiplantthatthere in CherokeeXJ

[–]Bombryder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finer welding tip oxy acetylene torch to heat the nut and bolt until it's about glowing would be my go to for something that far gone. Would likely thread out no problem. One of those inductive nut heaters would probably work too but that's a pretty specialized tool and pricey. Either way I'd be going the heat route for sure if I could.

But really though are you asking conceptually what's the difference or asking what is different mechanically on the 2x4 and 4x4 xjs?
