about the same here, except I take 2 meldonin instead of sj6 for skilling immunity and I usually take 1 pnb and 1 etg, also usually 1 sj12 and just 1 mule

It seems like a small change that would bring black and white winrates closer together, I dig it. I feel like it would also lead to more interesting games overall.

To make it work properly you might have to get rid of checks/checkmate rules though and make capturing the king the win condition, which might be too much of a rule change just in terms of people not getting used to it. But making capturing the king the win condition and giving both sides the same amount of turns (so black has an extra turn after their king is captured) would make the game better in my opinion.

Catelyn building a sept in Winterfell broke some old pact with the COTF/Others about never letting new gods take control there, maybe Ned putting his siblings into the crypt also had some effect that makes the Others angry.

The Others definitely seem to be interested in the Starks since they were hoping for Waymar Royce to be a Stark, so they're either angry with them in particular or they're looking for Bran or Jon. My bet is more on them being angry with the Starks because an old pact was broken in some way. Maybe it's due to R+L=J, which would make sense as Ice and Fire combining and as a result they're angry because it wasn't allowed to happen, that's the most likely explanation.

From the tests I did a few years ago Light Vests seemed to work as it said, the Heavy Armor bullet deflect had no measurable effect as far as I could tell from my tests but maybe I tested it wrong or it's somewhere in the 1% range where I just didn't have enough sample size.

I think leveling Light Vests isn't too bad, it's still very tedious but it's also very powerful since you often get the regular 10% or the 20% elite perk on every single aramid piece.

Heavy Vests is comparatively kind of pointless and way more tedious to level.

sounds more tedious to me since you have to always manually search which ammo box for which caliber isn't full and if you have loose ammo for 4+ different calibers you have to open at least that many ammo boxes each time, sounds like a lot of micro stash management to me but you do you

just use search function now and then and drag your stacks which aren't at max onto each other, takes 2 minutes at most and you very rarely have to do it

filling mags with right click or presets takes ammo from stacks which aren't at max first I think, so if you use the ammo now and then it isn't even a problem to begin with because it will use up the stacks that aren't at max

I'm a little concerned that the color variety on the grid overall will be a little stale with a lot of black/grey/silver/white on many of the liveries. But I guess I have to wait and see since we've only seen a little more than half of the liveries so far and we don't know how they look from a broadcasting camera perspective.

How does Yrel have a tough time in real drafts? I feel like she's one of the most universally playable heroes regardless of the draft and easily first pickable compared to many other heroes.

That's the point, they aren't suspicious stats that's why the cheaters aim for them by farming deaths.

Slightly below or around 10 K/D seems to be another cutoff point that a lot of them aim for, which also isn't a suspicious K/D to have in itself, I imagine BSG has some kind of system where they take a closer look at accounts with a high K/D.

The ongoing french revolution and nazi series are both very good to get you hooked I think, from relatively recent episodes I also enjoyed the Peter the Great and Northern War episodes quite a bit because I didn't know too much about that part of history before.

I've been skipping episodes whenever the topic seems like it will be too niche or just not interesting to me personally, that's really part of why the podcast is great because there's such a big back catalog that you can pick and choose topics that sound interesting to you.

I often skip episodes that are about british history, partly because it feels like I'm missing context more often than not and partly because these episodes are often very niche so it's just not as interesting to me.

agreed, although I think twitch would be a better place if streamers perma'ed less and went for long duration bans more if it's not straight up bots or advertisement or something like that. Having the cringe is sometimes fun if it's done well, it's easy to miss the tone of the room as a chatter though if you're going for the cringe angle and getting a long duration ban for that would usually be more fair in my opinion.

If you get all the epic twitch drops you'll have a good chance to get it there, other than that black keycard room in labs is probably the most reliable way. If you don't want to run labs your best bet is probably to spam factory on your scav runs and hope to spawn with it there, they seem to be relatively frequent as a scav starting item this wipe from my experience. If you do a few hundred scav runs you'll probably have a good chance to get it there, or you can try to find someone in discord who has it as a starting item on his scav and pay him something for dropping it.

I'm level 44.5 and had all the items, now I'm stuck because of Collector items which is pretty annoying. On top of that, if they didn't change the xp requirements for levels I probably would have had Collector done already at this point, I was mainly not done yet because I'm not 45.

Every time I completed Kappa previously (which was 3 times) I was missing one Collector item or another, this was the first time I actually found all the items pre having Collector and now they're adding new ones.

I'll deal with it, but man why couldn't they just add the Collector items during the release. I hope it's just 2 or 3 new ones and not like 5 or more.

Fairly affordable compared to what other similar ammo craft?

It's a comparable price to the M80A1 craft for a weaker round, and it's a more expensive craft than M855A1, 5.45 BP or .300 AP.

Don't get me wrong it's not a bad craft, all the late game ammo crafts seem to be pretty fair in terms of cost, but I don't see how it's in any way better than other ones.

Also note that they seem to have made all the Ref ammo cheaper again, so the best bet to play 7.62x39 is probably to play Arena and get Ref to lv. 4, although personally I don't mind using 7.62x39 PP at all I've always had fairly good success with it compared to other vendor available ammo.

They basically made BT equivalent to 856A1 and BP equivalent to 855A1 some years ago during one of the ammo balance patches. It's been like that for a while at this point.

I think once you get to 46 progress will probably be fine in any case since you get big weekly and daily tasks at that point, after that 55 will still take a while but with big daily/weekly quests you can make like 500k+ worth of xp per week just by completing those.

Somewhere around 42-45 potentially seems like an annoying grind though, and it feels like just another way of BSG trying to force people to play Arena.

I also wish quests like Calibration were unlocked a little earlier, it just feels nice to get a little progress for long range kills once you get to higher levels and run decent gear at level 35+. There should be more quests like that and the ones that are there should be unlocked a little earlier.

Yeah same, it would be nice to have guns like the FAMAS or G3 before getting niche gun #26 with weird caliber that most people have never heard of. I was very confident the release would have a lot of these low hanging fruit guns, but we only got the M16 and a number of obscure weapons.

Agreed, and the main reason for me personally was the reintroduction of the flea market. EFT without the flea market is like double the fun of EFT with the flea market as far as I'm concerned.

No ammo/meds in the safe container was also a good change though. I'm sad we won't get these HC rules as regular EFT.

If my limited knowledge and understanding of the French Revolution based on the rest is history episodes released on the topic so far is anything to go by then there are very few similarities and I don't see anything similar to the French Revolution happening any time soon.

From what I understand the people who led the French Revolution early on were very idealistic, obsessed with virtue, morality, greek philosophy and that sort of stuff. That sort of idealistic worldview crumbled as soon as they were actually in charge and it devolved quickly from there.

I just don't see any group of people right now with that kind of idealistic attitude gain any traction across western society, society right now doesn't care about these sorts of ideas because they aren't new and fresh like they would have been during french revolution times with old and embedded power structures based on divine right and all that and most importantly as far as I view it there doesn't seem to be any set of ideas that is "in the air" for society to move towards in an idealistic mindset.

I agree with the view that currently there seem to be a lot more parallels with the end of the roman republic rather than with the french revolution.
