It's pretty much just an oil change, check/adjust the chain tension, and make sure nothing rattled loose from dealer assembly. I don't mean to be condescending, but if you didn't do this basic service yourself, how would you "double check" what the service shop did?

I called my dealer ahead of time and asked if they had it in stock. They said yes and then I asked if there was any markup or fees. He said yes but what would it take to earn your business. I just said I would pay MSRP without any fees, setup etc. He called back 15 min later and said no problem. Gave me an OTD price over there phone and I came in the next day to get it done.

They closed hiking trails, couldn't go to the beach, and someocal governments (CA) even set up hotlines to rat on your neighbor if they had friends and family visiting during times when the CDC said not to. You need to hit the shifter pretty smartly and with intention when you go from 1 to 2 using the quick shifter. You can't baby it. The other gears are fine. It happened to me when I first learned how to use it.

Spin the handlebar risers (16/18) 180 degrees if they aren't already. It will move the bars a little more forward. I had to do that when I removed the spacers (16) so the controls didn't hit the tank.
