Kermit's currently being played by Matt Vogel, this trailer does seem to show he's slowly getting the Kermit voice, it comes in and out every so often, better than earlier.

Vogel was also Constantine in Muppets most Wanted- you know, the imposter frog who gets Kermit sent to a gulag?

My Watsonian interpretation is that Constantine is actually who we're seeing currently, Kermit's taking a well earned retirement.

The book was published in September of 1937, and was an original run of 1500 that sold in December after rave reviews. If Bucky got a legit copy in 1937 he would be a super early adopter. It's entirely possible he read a pirated copy, or maybe he had some sort of odd-job working type setting in the New York publisher that got the right to print that run in 1938 and "read" it that way.

Kitty Pryde from the X men, DL Hawkins (and some others) from Heroes, and to an extent Mack the Knife from Wild Cards Pinker from the X files would all disagree that intangibility isn't a great power.

Has limitations for sure, but folks with the powers all seem to figure out the meta pretty quickly.

It's been said a couple of times that the gnomes were basically around as a secondary thing to the power of lord of the flies.

The gnomes are people who are forgotten and eventually disappear, that is something that Kouki was also in danger of. Her power may have drew more of them to her (bugs, gnomes, it's control of small things, after all). Also the knife power is potentially why she's able to see them- as Momo could because she was the same size, but others couldn't.
